My hat was lost inside the restaurant, even though I knew with complete certainty that it was stolen there. When I asked to check the camera, they said you entered without a hat. I couldn't believe it, but I didn't have time to follow up further because I was going to miss my flight.
On a dîné chez Archibald en attendant notre vol. Excellent service ! La nourriture était très bonne ainsi que la bière!!! La poutine à l'effiloché de boeuf était délicieuse! Le restaurant demande que nous ayons 40 minutes au moins, avant l'embarquement, ainsi, il n'y a pas de stress pour personne!
Je voyage beaucoup pour mon travail & fais toujours un stop chez Archibal pour relaxer & prendre une bière. J'adore la bière Archibald j'en achète régulièrement à la maison.
Cette fois-ci ma femme & moi avons commandé chacun un sandwich viande fumée'smoked meet' & malheureusement nous ne l'avons pas aimé. La portion de viande des sandwichs était timide, & elle ressemblait aux portions individuelles congelées qu'on retrouve en épicerie (à faire chauffer dans l'eau chaude). L'assiette était ordinaire pour 25CAD.
I had been warned that the smoke meat sandwich was a bit light on the portion side. They were not wrong. It still tasted pretty food but the fries were cold (thankfully, the Waitress got me a brand new, steaming hot mini-bucket of fries).
The problem is that Archibald has become complacent. I've been before both at the airport & in Montréal but the food & portions were better.
Just because you have a kepted-market doesn't mean the food has to be mediocre.
Let me be clear, the service was exceptional. She let me linger as I had a longer than expected wait.
L'Archibald à l'aéroport est un coup de coeur absolu. C'est toujours mon premier & dernier arrêt avant de m'envoler.
?L'ambiance est chaleureuse (un vrai petit chalet!), le service est rapide, même aux heures de pointe, & la nourriture est excellente. De plus, le personnel est toujours chaleureux & efficace. Un immense bravo à toute l'équipe pour offrir une si belle expérience aux voyageurs. C'est le meilleur endroit pour commencer ses vacances ou revenir à la maison!
