The Archibald microbrewery is delicious panini platters, whisky BBQ chicken wings and hearty breakfasts. It’s also “hunter’s platters” that will satisfy even the most voracious appetites. But above all, Archibald is some ten artisanal brews that are out of this world: La Matante, La Joufflue, La Brise du lac, La Ciboire, La Choute, La Tite’Kriss, La Weiss and more! It’s a date!

With limited options decent food at YUL, this spot offered some good healthy options (& regular pub style food) at a slightly higher than usual price. The service is great, & the staff are friendly & don't waste any time! Be prepared for loud music & a lively environment around the clock here. I had the breakfast omelette & coffee - no complaints.
Great place while we waited for connecting flight. Comfortable chairs. I had the shrimp tacos which had fresh ingredients & were very tasty. I also upgraded the fries to poutine. The poutine was very good. I am not a poutine expert but being from Alabama I know fries, gravy, & cheese. My wife had the mushroom ravioli & it was like a fine dining entree. Our waiter, Maxton, was very friendly & knowledgeable, he quoted us well on what to eat!
Best food I’ve ever eaten at an airport restaurant. I’ve seen a lot of airport restaurants-& try to avoid them.
I ordered the beef cheeks & they were amazing. Like a tender beef roast that has simmered all day. They came with 4 delicious mushroom ravioli & vegetables. One of the asparagus spears was woody which I was happy to overlook in an airport restaurant - but would bring up in a 5 star restaurant review. The hazy IPA was really good. This was a date night quality meal.
My wife had prosciutto linguine. It was as delicious as my beef cheeks. The restaurant was out of the white wine my wife asked for & she settled with Chardonnay which she described as adequate.
Service was quick & friendly. We ordered in English & were well treated. French was more common among staff & customers.
The atmosphere is that of a typical brew pub.
In summary, my best meal at any airport & a meal I’d be happy with at good restaurants off airport. My congratulations to the management & staff.
We had six hours between flights today. The hostess asks guests if they have at least 40 minutes until boarding before seating them. Service is quick, but for a leisurely meal I’d recommend at least an hour.
Great spot in the airport. Belle Mare is one of my favorite IPAs. Food is good. Got a smoked meat Sammy & definitely had better. The meat was shaved very thin which is new to me. Was ok. Fries were tasty. That said, go for the beer ;)

My wife & I had a long wait for our plane so we opted to settle in here. It was right across from the gate.
We had to wait in a line, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I think it was a changeover from breakfast to lunch. We waited over 15 minutes. I'm sure they could have handled that differently.
When finally seated, we didn't quite know what we wanted to order for drinks. The server came back over 10 minutes later. The beer I wanted was not in stock (Tite Cream).
We shared a burger & fries. It was okay, but nothing memorable.
While we were waiting/eating, I noticed the wait staff all hanging out in the back of the restaurant, doing nothing. I have no problem with that but it was in the middle of the restaurant! They finally dispersed but I did find it unappealing.
I may go here again if I'm ever at that gate area, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
