I don't know why is this place having a bad review. I had an amazing experience during my vacation in Montreal, we were accross having bagel, & suddenly I spot this place & since I am greek food lover, we quickly checked the menu online as I am vegetarian.
& this was the best best Greek food i ever had. I had questions about platter, portion which was addressed patiently by the server, offcourse she may have got annoyed with my bunch of questions which is quite understandable & she also suggested me with different veg cheese & spinach pie.
I took a
Veg dinner, which was served with pita (salad of choice) -- was amazing
Fresh potatoes
Flavored feta cheese slice
Rice
I wish, i could go again.
This was my best Greek food ever with good price.
& it was simply filling.

Arahova used to be decent if you wanted simple Greek fast food. I went yesterday & wow… I should've known what was coming when I saw the washroom, which honestly looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week.

We started with two beers served in dirty glasses. Wanting something fresh before the main course, we ordered the pikilia. Technically it was fresh… straight out of the fridge. Easily one of the worst pikilias I've ever had. Everything was drenched in some kind of oil that definitely didn't taste like olive oil.

Then came the chicken gyros platter. Pretty standard dish, but again, disappointing. The potatoes were bland, the Greek salad looked sad, & while the chicken & rice were okay, the whole plate was extremely greasy.

We spent over $100 for this experience. Honestly, a shame. Definitely not going back.

Tried this Arahova location & honestly had a really great experience overall.

The food was fresh, flavorful, & well-portioned. The fried calamari were freshly made, the chicken plate was super satisfying with a nice mix of textures, & the pita wrap was simple but hit the spot. Potatoes so flavourful & addictive! Everything tasted clean & well-seasoned.

What really stood out though was the service. The waitresses were incredibly kind & patient the whole time. We were actually among the last customers close to closing, & they still treated us with care, no rushing, no attitude, just genuinely good service.

I was paying with a gift card & they weren't familiar with how to process it, but instead of making it awkward, they stayed calm, figured it out, & made sure I could use it without any issue.

Overall, great food + genuinely kind service (even at closing time) = definitely coming back.

If this place was 100km away from me, I would still come in for Peter K, his amazing energy & the incredible food!
Flan cake is fantastic, fresh & homemade.
Very cute ambience, restaurant was clean & had a fantastic atmosphere.
Will be back!

The meat was fresh & tender, in a perfectly warm pita, just the right amount of that delicious tsaziky sauce & fresh crispy fries..service was friendly & fast, prices are reasonable 👌 for two people
