Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe Arahova Souvlaki as a warm Greek spot with generous portions and consistently tasty dishes such as souvlaki and gyros, along with a tasty tzatziki, oven potatoes, and desserts like chocolate cake, all complemented by service that is frequently described as friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, with leftovers happily taken home by satisfied guests. The atmosphere is warm and casual, with many appreciating a lively summer terrace and a sense of homey hospitality that makes it good for friends or family. The food is repeatedly praised for quality and value, and some say the gyros are as good as those in Athens, with portions that feel generous. A few reviewers note hiccups including very hot dining rooms due to air conditioning issues, a ceiling with grease stains, and a dumpster visible from inside, suggesting improvements to comfort and presentation. Despite these concerns, the overall sentiment is positive and many call it a must try for Greek cuisine, with some noting a slight decline from past visits.

I had such a wonderful dining experience at Arahova! I was served by Andrew, who was courteous, friendly, & very attentive throughout my meal. I ordered the 2 for $45 special, which included a Greek salad, fries, rice, & a choice of chicken or pork (with just $1 extra for the pita). The meal also came with tea or coffee & a delicious chocolate cake for dessert.
As usual, my eyes were bigger than my stomach - I enjoyed part of my Greek salad & polished off all the fries. Thankfully, I still had room for that decadent chocolate cake & soothing tea. The portions were generous, & I loved that I could take the rest home (yes, you can do that!).
Andrew's great service & the food's quality made it another fantastic visit. I absolutely recommend Arahova to anyone looking for a satisfying & warm Greek dining experience.

Horrible food! Not well cooked, potatoes were hard & only boiled not even greek potatoes. Meat had an awful taste. Save your money & go elsewhere

Sure! Here's a revised version of your review: We used to visit this Greek restaurant regularly years ago, & we're happy to see that it has maintained its quality. The food is just as delicious as it was 20 years ago, with friendly service & a great atmosphere. It's definitely going on our must-visit list for future trips to Montreal.

We were craving some Greek food & decided to order from this establishment. We ordered the lamb pita platter that came with rice, fries & salad. Portion-wise was generous for the price paid. The protein however was not fresh & had a funny aftertaste.

We have known the Arohava chain for years, & specifically the Arahova location in Brossard. We had not been there in a long time. My wife & I stopped by last night for a late night take-out meal after a long day. We met Keagan, one of the new owners who was very pleasant & accommodated us just before closing. He gave us an excellent service, the food was fresh, delicious, & the best souvlaki on pita I have ever had from Arahova. We were very pleasantly surprised & look forward to going back & making it our favorite place for Greek food on the South Shore.

Souvlaki presentation was nice until you realize that 40% of it is pure red onions!! Once you take them off the souvlaki is pretty empty. They change 1$ extra for gyro.. keep that in mind. The "Greek potatoes" don't waste your money!! They LITERALLY taste only like boiled potatoes, no greek season, no lemon.. just boiled potatoes with too much grease. Would return them if I could Don't buy it! Don't buy from here! It costed us 71$ for 1 small poutine, 4 pork souvlaki's, "greek potatoes"👀👀.
