Cannot say enough great things about the food & people at Aquinta. Delicious chicken, ribs, & wonderful value for money. Go early to get a table as there is often a line up!
Favourite Portuguese chicken on Ontario street. Family run restaurant, been there for more than a decade, it's the place you go with family, friends, dates & even after church!
I only had experience through über eat, never been in their restaurant. I think it's one of the best Portuguese charcoal grilled chicken 🍗 in Montreal. Keep in mind though if you choose delivery they regularly forget items in the order like soda, natas or the salad side dishe. Of course uber refund but very frustrating still.
An amazing spot for poutine in Montreal! The portions are very generous, especially with the chorizo & chicken, & it always hits the spot. The flavours are spot on & consistently satisfying. Anytime I'm craving poutine, this is the first place I order from, it never disappoints!

Both the grilled chicken & grilled squid at Aquinta are excellent. The chicken is juicy & flavorful with a nicely grilled exterior, while the squid is tender, springy, & perfectly seasoned with no fishy taste at all. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh & prepared with care. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
Delicious food & great service! Particularly recommended the portugueses chicken poutine. The catch of the day is also very good. The portugueses potatoes are very tasty. Honestly a really nice neighborhood gem. The servers are very kind & friendly.
Aquinta is simply outstanding! The chicken, steak, & seafood are cooked to perfection - always fresh, flavorful, & satisfying. The staff are incredibly friendly & make every visit feel special. Prices are very affordable, which makes it a fantastic choice whether you're planning a family dinner, grabbing a takeaway, or enjoying a first date. Truly one of the best restaurants around!
Went there twice ! Both time food was 10/10 ! Service 10/10! …. Price/Quality/Portion/ Service wise … This restaurant reminds me of what restauration was like before the pandemic! We ordered the half chicken.. its served with fries & a salade ! Everything was delicious … & all that for less than 20$ !!! I had a perfect amaretto sour for 7.50$… ! Really im shocked! 10/10 … they're lots of stafff .. service is quixk ! Really waw waw waw …

The grilled chicken was perfectly charred with just the right amount of spice-juicy inside, crispy outside, & topped with crushed chili flakes that bring the heat without overpowering the taste. Every bite was packed with bold, smoky goodness!

Absolutely perfect experience. The codfish croquettes & piri piri roast chicken were absolutely amazing. The service was extremely nice & incredibly attentive without being clingy or overbearing. As a 10 year veteran of cooking in the food industry & generally being very picky about food, I can say without hesitation that this place is everything that a restaurant should be. 10/10
We had a great meal here yesterday. The food was fresh & tasty-especially the seafood & the chicken, which was moist & well-seasoned. The portions were generous, particularly the kids' meal, which was big enough to satisfy even a hungry little one!
One concern came up when it was time to pay. I asked our waiter to split the bill in two, & somehow the sales tax was added again on each split-something we only noticed thanks to my sister carefully reviewing the bill. Not sure if it was a mistake or not, but it's something to watch for.
Overall, the food & service were good, but double-check your bill when splitting payments.
