Aquinta was a restaurant in the extended neighborhood of our AirBnB & we thought we would try it one night during our stay in Montréal. Wow... I think I'm now in love with Portuguese cuisine! Amazing vibe & great BBQ style cooking... fish of the day is to die for. Reasonable prices & excellent service.
We live in NZ... such a long way to come back for seconds (but tempting 😉 ).

Excellent restaurant, excellent rapport qualité/prix. Bien meilleur que dans beaucoup, beaucoup de restaurant qui chargent des prix de fou. Comment expliquer qu'un si bon restaurant, avec un service excellent puisse offrir des plats d'une qualité incomparable à un prix aussi abordable & normal. Après mon passage chez Aquinta, plus rien de justifiera les augmentations de prix hallucinants & abusifs des autres restaurants. Aquinta est la preuve qu'il existe encore de très bons restaurants avec un personnel super efficace & courtois, sans que la facture ne soit un désastre comme c'est devenu le cas dans beaucoup trop de restaurant. Bravo Aquinta !
Aquinta is one of my favorite spots-every visit is a treat. The food is consistently excellent, & the service is top-notch. I usually go for the paila as my main dish, & it never disappoints-rich, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. The grilled octopus is another standout: tender, smoky, & beautifully plated. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable meal.
The only (very small) downside is that it can get a bit loud when it's busy, but honestly, it's a sign of how popular the place is-& for good reason.
We had a great meal here yesterday. The food was fresh & tasty-especially the seafood & the chicken, which was moist & well-seasoned. The portions were generous, particularly the kids' meal, which was big enough to satisfy even a hungry little one!
One concern came up when it was time to pay. I asked our waiter to split the bill in two, & somehow the sales tax was added again on each split-something we only noticed thanks to my sister carefully reviewing the bill. Not sure if it was a mistake or not, but it's something to watch for.
Overall, the food & service were good, but double-check your bill when splitting payments.

Je vais souvent à ce restaurant c'est l'idéal en petit groupe, l'ambiance est très agréable. Les combos sont très abordable & la nourriture est authentique & surprenament bonne. Ça vaut le détour!!
Une excellente expérience culinaire ! Les plats étaient savoureux, le service attentionné & l'ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant & j'y reviendrai avec plaisir.

Nous avions choisi du poulet & des calmars frits. Assiette très généreuse!

Very good place with good portions, taste, ambience & service. Ordered the mixed 1 & 2 to get a taste of all the meat options. Next time will be fish 👍

I had a fantastic dinner at Aquinta. Will absolutely be back to try more of the menu! Prices are very reasonable & portions are generous. The homemade piri piri sauce is DELICIOUS, & I brought home a jar!
Nice restaurant with amazing food. Restaurant had a very nice atmosphere with cozy decorations & music. Food was good & fairly priced. Restaurant was kind of cramped & therefore staff was quick to clear your table.
