Alhamdulillah we had a lovely Bangladeshi food lunch here. Alhamdulillah liked the food here a lot. Shutki bhorta, begun bhorta, beef bhuna, beef shatkora, chicken with Naga morich( chilli) , khichuri, ruhu fish bhuna,rice, these Alhamdulillah we ordered & ate & liked a lot. My friend & I had dinner there & it is simply put one of the best Bengali eateries in North America. We had the pabda & rui - & Shutki & alu bhorta. They were all exquisite. Great food, terrific service - just the kind of meal to warm our bodies & hearts on a cold Montreal day. I cannot recommend this place enough.View more

One the best bangali restaurants in Canada, for taste. Took my wife & my mom there, had beef shatkora, daal, begun & shutki bhorta with shaak chingri & pabda maach. They were all great - felt like we had dinner at home, we were visiting from out of town & needed some bhaat & it hit the spot. Good service, the food wasn't oily or greasy & genuine appayon!View more

Two years of wait later I finally made time to see the only Bangali restaurant in Montreal! Appayon is a hidden gem that transported us straight to the heart of Bengali cuisine. one of the very few Bengali restaurants in Mtl, was pretty excited when I first tried the authentic platter with white rice , alu bhorta & dal & they didnt disappoint. But as I started trying their other meals, altho the taste takes me back to my home country, the oil might take me to the hospital. Appayon is the best Bangladeshi restaurant I've ever tried in Canada. This establishment specializes in serving local Bangladeshi cuisine, particularly dishes from the northeastern region of Bangladesh. During our visit to Montreal, we made a stop at this restaurant & were pleasantly surprised. The food was home-cooked, fresh, & filled with love. We sampled the shutki bhorta, roasted chicken, shrimp fried rice, alu bhorta, bhaat bhaji, & pulao rice. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.View more
