“Three guys from the restaurant industry, sharing the same passion, met in a restaurant in Melbourne and a few years later decided to open their own place on the other side of the world: Montreal.”
This spot is the result of three visions combined, bringing together over 30 years of experience in the field. Through our menu and our restaurant, we want to offer you something unique. With our originality, we aim to contribute to Montreal’s vibrant dining scene.
Antipode is described as a stunning cozy spot with beautiful decor and a warm ambiance, where brunch stands out for both generous portions and artful presentation. Reviews consistently praise fresh ingredients, inventive flavor combinations, and a menu that balances comforting brunch staples with creative twists, including eggs Benedict variations, chakchouka, merguez, croque tartiflette, and bold sweet options like pain perdu and unique lattes. The coffee program receives repeated praise with specialties such as tiramisu latte, ube latte, and other visually striking drinks, alongside dishes that are said to be well presented. Reservations are advised and lines can form on weekends, though many say the wait is worth it for the quality. Service is commonly described as attentive and friendly, with occasional slower moments but overall very positive, and staff are noted for making guests feel welcomed. The atmosphere, decor, and greenery are highlighted as enhancing the dining experience, and many reviews consider the place among the best brunch options in Montreal with a vibe that invites return visits and sharing desserts. Overall the reviews converge on a high quality brunch destination with plentiful portions, visual appeal, and a lively yet relaxed environment that many would recommend trying soon.

Best French toast & Pumpkin Spice Latte I ever had, & I've had lots in the last 45 years!! The Croq Madame is super delicious! Definitely going again & again!! Excellent service as well.
This place was good, but I guess my expectations were through the roof given how popular it is & those expectations weren't really met. Again, the food was good, but nothing to fall off my chair. Maybe I was expecting too much. The service was really good though & the place is cute! I'd go back & try different dishes, to see if there is anything that blows me away.
I first went to the one on Laurier & it was already very good so I had to try the new location. It did not disappoint, very beautiful & cozy decor (very warm & earthy). The food & lattes were delicious. The is a lineup so arrive before 10:30 (max 11) otherwise you will probably wait outside. But it's worth it! The first time I had the eggs Benedict with ham & the second time I had the chackchoukas merguez with the latte speculos & espresso martini. Highly recommend, my top 3 brunch spots on Montreal!
