Review Summary

Antipode is widely celebrated as a premier brunch destination in Montreal, praised for its visually stunning, generous, and flavorful dishes that often feature creative twists on classic favorites. Many patrons highlight the exceptional quality of their signature lattes and cocktails, alongside a welcoming, warm, and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. While the vast majority of guests enjoy impeccable service and a memorable dining experience, a few visitors have noted occasional challenges regarding noise levels, limited accessibility for strollers, or strict time constraints during busy periods. Overall, it remains a highly recommended spot for those seeking a modern and delicious brunch experience, with the convenience of reservations at certain locations adding to its strong appeal.

Canned Tomato Shakshuka! Canned tomato paste, 5 cubes of tofu with a small bread & tiny hummus with 1 olive - nothing but tomato paste - $26. Open a can of tomatoes, put balsamic vinegar & serve it with hummus- $ 4 or $5 max ! Cold service. Overhyped. 0.9/5. Put up a fancy social media account, call in some influencers, add some beautiful presentation to pop eye balls out & voila - get a 4.9/5 star rating which is overhyped.

Ps : the owners need to teach their servers how to talk. The tall male server (Caucasian guy) specifically. Needs to learn some manners how to talk to customers politely at the door. Wait here sign at the door was hidden as the door was open.

Amazing food for a great value! The presentation is absolutely beautiful. We loved our food. The burger was a bit salty for me & a bit difficult to eat, but it was delicious nonetheless. The truffle fries are to die for! Also, the shakshuka was perfection. The lattes & cocktails are truly one of the main reasons to visit as they are delicious & beautiful to look at! We had reservations so there was no wait. Service was prompt & friendly & the atmosphere was inviting & nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend & return.

After a quick search on TikTok I saw that this place was one of (if not the best place) for brunch in Montreal. We went to the St-Laurent location. The drinks were beautiful with so many to choose from for both coffee & non-coffee drinkers. The food was also so delicious with large portion sizes. I was full until dinner time. Lastly, the service & the atmosphere & decor were stunning. Would highly recommend this place when visiting Montreal!

I first went to the one on Laurier & it was already very good so I had to try the new location. It did not disappoint, very beautiful & cozy decor (very warm & earthy). The food & lattes were delicious. The is a lineup so arrive before 10:30 (max 11) otherwise you will probably wait outside. But it's worth it! The first time I had the eggs Benedict with ham & the second time I had the chackchoukas merguez with the latte speculos & espresso martini. Highly recommend, my top 3 brunch spots on Montreal!

This location takes reservations, making it not only delightful but also effortlessly accessible-a huge plus!

The vibrant ambiance & beautiful decor wowed us from the get-go. We began with the chakchouka merguez, a hearty & satisfying dish that stood beautifully on its own.
Next, we were captivated by the colourful waffle topped with succulent chicken. It was as visually stunning as it was delicious, with a very balanced touch of spice.

To drink, a remarkable tiramisu latte, basically a liquid dessert. The layers of coffee & cream were artfully blended in a decadently rich creation.
We also had the Ube latte, which was every bit as good as we expected it to be.
For dessert, the Yuzu Pain Perdu-an unforgettable creation that dazzled us with its intricate flavors. The combination of sweet & tangy yuzu was wonderful.

Every aspect of our brunch was a reminder of why we cherish this restaurant. With its creative dishes, decadent lattes, & irresistible desserts
