I got the salmon & guacamole eggs benedict. I didn't like the secret sauce at all & the salmon was very brand, needed more salt. the guacamole wasnt guacamole, it was just mashed avocado. it was very brand & had a strange taste although I gotta admit the presentation looked beautifulView more

We recently visited Antipode & tried a variety of dishes, including the Shakshuka, Croque Madame, Chicken Waffle, Burrata, & Mushroom Eggs Benedict. While the food tasted decent, it didn't quite meet our expectations, especially after standing in line for about an hour. The dishes were well-presented, but the flavors were just average & lacked that wow factor. For the time & effort it took to get a table, I was hoping for a more memorable dining experience. However, I must say their drinks were the highlight of our visit. The Espresso Martini was perfectly balanced, the Tiramisu Latte had a delightful hint of sweetness, & the Pistachio Latte was a unique & delicious treat. Overall, while the food was okay, the standout beverages were what made the visit worthwhile. In my opinion, Antipode is deserving of a 3-star rating-good drinks but not necessarily worth the long wait just for the food.View more

We hosted a private dinner at Antipode in August 2024 for about 40 people. Everything - from the communication leading to the evening, the service, & the food - was absolutely amazing. The food, of course the most important thing- was amazing & abundant. Every guest was filled to the brim but couldn't stop eating for how delicious it was. We had a tasting menu that started with a cocktail & then the following across three services: tuna ceviche with homemade tortilla chips, eggplant croquettes, salmon tartare, Korean fried chicken, burrata with focaccia, beef tataki, truffle pasta, & a pistachio/nutella/strawberry beignet dessert. I wish I had taken better pictures but every dish was aesthetically gorgeous & tasted absolutely incredible. The restaurant is also beautiful. It's intimate & has walls that open onto the street & the restaurant's patio. The owner, Nick, was so kind & accommodating throughout. We had some fussy toddlers & babies & he did everything possible to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. If you're thinking about Antipode for your private event, or for a weekend dinner with friends or family, do not hesitate! Just go! We will be coming back again & again for dinner & I can't wait for the next opportunity to host another private event. Milles merci Nick & team!View more

I recently visited Antipode & was really impressed with their food. The Benedict was absolutely delicious-perfectly cooked with generous portions that were both filling & savory. It's definitely something I'd recommend to anyone looking for a hearty & satisfying meal. The drinks were a bit of a mixed bag, though. The pistachio latte was great, with a nice, nutty flavor that complemented the meal well. However, the matcha latte could use some work-it was a bit underwhelming & didn't have the rich, smooth taste I was hoping for. Overall, a solid experience & I'd definitely come back for the Benedict!View more

J'ai récemment visité ce restaurant pour le déjeuner & je dois dire que l'expérience a été exceptionnelle. Les oeufs bénédictes aux champignons & à la truffe étaient préparés à la perfection, & le pain perdu au yuzu était tout simplement divin. Chaque bouchée était un véritable plaisir pour les papilles. Le décor du restaurant est également très beau, créant une atmosphère agréable pour profiter du repas. Le service était accueillant & attentionné, ce qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus agréable. Si j'avais eu plus de place, j'aurais sans hésiter commandé autre chose. Je reviendrai certainement pour goûter d'autres plats. Ce restaurant est devenu un de mes favoris!View more

Unfortunately, I found this place to be overhyped & not worth it. The service was very slow, & restaurant is quite crowded. The food was good but again not impressive. Plus the menu is very limited. In my opinion, Janine cafe or Regine Cafe are much better.View more

I ordered the pistachio latte & the yuzu French toast & both were really good. The presentation was a 10/10 also . Definitely coming back. Only thing is it takes a little bit of time to get a table since it's really busy (even though I went on a Monday thinking it would be less busy) so keep that in mind .View more

This spot doesn't take reservations, so you might have to wait in line before being seated, but it's absolutely worth it. The food is a true work of art-creamy, rich, & bursting with flavor. The lattes, whether pistachio or tiramisu, are a must-try. A special thanks to Mathieu & Juliette for their warm smiles & impeccable service. The only downside is that it can get a bit uncomfortable indoors on hot, humid days. Nonetheless, I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Montréal!View more

Superbe accueil! Même s'il y a toujours de l'attente, on nous fait pas sentir pressés comme à d'autres endroits. Les plats étaient délicieux, j'ai particulièrement adoré le latté aux pistaches. Aussi on a bien été accueillis avec 2 enfants. Je recommande!View more
