Definitely the place to be!
If you are looking for a great brunch place with high quality taste & creative culinary, this is the place to be.
Ive been here several times & so far no other place beats it!!
Their specialties are the Benedicts & the lattés (but also everything else is super good & special)
I recommend taking any of the egg benedict choices & the bueno latte (hot) & the tiramisu latte (frappe)
So far we ve tried the Benedicts, the shakshouka, the croque mr & croque mme & different lattes. Everything is super good. There is definitely no disappointment in this place.
The service is remarkable!! The staff is always smiling, happy & super nice!!
Even when the place is overly crowded they will make sure to accommodate all your needs & make sure you're hapoy & satisfied! They would never accept you leaving unhappy for anythg!
This place is a 5 stars!View more
Heard a lot of buzz about this place, so I finally went for brunch one afternoon. The seating is a little cramped & not ideal for kids, if you ask me. I always like places with a small menu, so they can nail everything they make. The food was alright, & the drinks looked cool. We got a bunch of drinks, & they all tasted pretty unique, which was a surprise. The fried chicken was a bit overcooked & the meat on the eggs benedict was a bit dry, but not deal breakers. It's worth checking out if you're in the area, but there are some other good spots around there too. P.S.: Expect to stand in line for a bit to get in if you cannot make it the first hour of when it opens.View more
The french toast was out of this world! The salmon egg benedict was a bit too salty.
I would come back just for the french toast honestly.
The service was okay, not the best, & I feel like ice in water should be custom, especially in the summer.
The biscoff latte was delicious, although not really strong in coffee.
Overall nice experience, i would need to try other stuff on their menu to see if this place is overrated.
One thing for sure is it is kind of expensive, but brunch in mtl usually is.View more
Coffee was very good. We weren't a fan or the waffle chicken. Eggs & truffles was ok.View more
A bit pricey, but the food is worth it.
I tried the Oeufs Beurre Noisette with Merguez & it was absolutely delicious. Every bite was a flavour bomb. The varying textures of the soft poached eggs, the crunchy nuts & the crispy-soft falafels takes this dish to the next level.
The drinks are pretty instagrammable but not that good (or maybe I didn't order a good one)View more
Their Egg Benedicts are so good (tried Salmon, brisket & sausage - & the brisket was so far the best!!), the sauce, the kick, the presentation... everything very original! Love their fat ass coffees too, Tiramisu latte is my fav. The only downside is the wait time, if you wanna avoid lines & the orders getting delayed, go before 9:30 AM especially for weekends.View more
Absolutely delicious!!! The pistachio latte is a must! Still dreaming about it. Our order was as followed: a lavender matcha & pistachio latte, for food we got the mushroom truffle eggs benedict & the pain perdu yuzu!View more
I chose the bueno latte. Really not that good.. Aesthetically pleasing to look at though.
I chose the mushroom & brisket egg benedict. Loved the flavours! I do recommend taking that.
I waited over 30 minutes to be sat at a table. There's a lineup most of the time the place is open. I feel the vibe isn't that'wow', I think people just visit to check it off their lists.
Def not a place for kids nor babies. Very crowded..
Our server was very kind tho..View more
4.5/5 ⭐️ We visited on a Sunday for brunch so it was very busy. We waited outside for about 30 minutes then once we were seated it took about 45-60 mins to get our food. I can't blame the service since I could tell they were trying their best with how busy it was! We got our drinks, a pistachio latte & nutella smarties drink, soon after ordering & they were phenomenal. It might be the best drink I've had & it was very aesthetic! We had the chakchouka classique & champignon & truffle eggs benedict - the only critique I have is that the sauce used for the eggs benedict has anchovies so my partner could not try the otherwise vegetarian dish. The chakchouka was vegetarian & I like how they included a side of hummus & olives as well. As a dessert we had the pain du perdu which was incredible. I'm not a fan of French toast but wow! The outside was crunchy & reminiscent of cinnamon sugar churros & the inside was soft. It seems the bread is made in house. It came with a variety of toppings as well & was very beautifully plated. I would recommend this to anyone wanting something sweet during brunch hours. So, although we had to wait a long time, the service was very friendly & the food was absolutely worth it. It makes sense that it was so busy! If possible I would try to come back on a weekday & also try the teatime menu.View more
The smoked salmon & avocado egg's Benedict was absolutely delicious! I was really looking forward to trying the lattes with the pistachio & bueno rim, but the actual coffee is sweetened beyond comprehension. We could barely finishing drinking them. It would be awesome to be able to order them unsweetened (maybe you can, but I didn't think to ask). We went on a Sunday morning & waited about 30 min in line. Overall, I'd go back for the benedict alone!View more
The place is beautiful, & the decor is amazing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but to me, it didn't feel like a traditional Benedict due to the color & different taste of the sauce. I didn't love the dish-the bread was really good, & the eggs were perfectly done, but the green sauce, which had a vinegary taste, made the dish feel overly salty due to the Serrano ham. The staff was friendly, with a great presentation, & the matcha was good-I'd say that was my favorite part along with the plate presentation. Honestly, I struggled to finish the dish because it tasted too salty & vinegary. I've seen many positive reviews, so it must depend on personal preferences. However, traditionally, Benedict sauce isn't green & doesn't contain mint or herbs, but rather just butter & egg yolk.View more
10/10 for their AMAZINGLY fancy coffees. We tried the Tiramisu, Pistacchio & Pumpkin lattes. We also loved the food; croque madame, eggs benedict with salmon & guacamole & the francescinha. Perfect portions left us feeling satisfied & not overly stuffed. The waitress did not make us feel rushed during our brunch. ONLY downside was the one hour+ wait outside, but luckily it was a beautiful day. Will definitely come back!View more
Tucked away in a charming corner of Montreal, offers a brunch experience that transcends the ordinary. This cozy coffee shop exudes warmth & charm from the moment you step in, but it's the food that truly steals the show. Here, dishes are not merely meals-they are edible works of art. Each plate is a masterpiece, both visually stunning & bursting with flavor, delivering everything one could hope for in a leisurely weekend brunch. What sets Antipode apart is its playful creativity. The menu is full of unexpected pairings that somehow work beautifully, like the pistachio latte-a unique creation that, while a touch too sweet for my taste, was a delightful surprise. It's exactly the kind of imaginative twist that keeps you coming back for more. The dessert, however, was the undeniable highlight of the meal. The pain perdu-a glorious, indulgent take on French toast-was generously portioned, perfect for sharing, though I found it difficult to stop eating even when full. Its richness & comforting sweetness made for a perfect ending to a delightful meal. If you're looking to treat yourself on a lazy Saturday, Antipode is the place to be. Start with the eggs Benedict & a pistachio latte, then finish with the pain perdu for a sweet, satisfying finale. & do bring a friend-these generous portions are made to be shared, ensuring you both leave feeling content & in high spirits.View more
Pistachio & tiramisu latte are very unique. I think the tiramisu is better personally. The eggs benedicts were good, there isn't too much difference between all three choices since it's the same sauce. The mushroom > the jambon. The croque madame was a bit too heavy.View more
I got the salmon & guacamole eggs benedict. I didn't like the secret sauce at all & the salmon was very brand, needed more salt. the guacamole wasnt guacamole, it was just mashed avocado. it was very brand & had a strange taste although I gotta admit the presentation looked beautifulView more
We recently visited Antipode & tried a variety of dishes, including the Shakshuka, Croque Madame, Chicken Waffle, Burrata, & Mushroom Eggs Benedict. While the food tasted decent, it didn't quite meet our expectations, especially after standing in line for about an hour. The dishes were well-presented, but the flavors were just average & lacked that wow factor. For the time & effort it took to get a table, I was hoping for a more memorable dining experience. However, I must say their drinks were the highlight of our visit. The Espresso Martini was perfectly balanced, the Tiramisu Latte had a delightful hint of sweetness, & the Pistachio Latte was a unique & delicious treat. Overall, while the food was okay, the standout beverages were what made the visit worthwhile. In my opinion, Antipode is deserving of a 3-star rating-good drinks but not necessarily worth the long wait just for the food.View more
Saumon fumé & guacamole 4/5 Benedict eggs with smoked salmon & guacamole. A refreshing taste. Croque Truffe 4.5/5 Ham & truffle cheese sandwich, quite good. Gaufre & Poulet 4.5/5 It tastes like Korean fried chicken. The flavor is delicious, but it's too common for us. Pain Perdu yuzu 3.5/5 The presentation is very nice, & the pear is quite special, but the taste is just okay. Latte Pistachio 5/5 Latte Tiramisu 4.5/5 Latte Lavande 3/5 The ambiance of the restaurant is particularly beautiful, with decor featuring elements of greenery & sculptures.View more
Excellent brunch spot with wide open windows for a hybrid indoor-outdoor experience. Atmosphere is really welcoming, with Greek-hellenistic & postmodern art on the walls & around. Service: excellent. Juliette, our waitress, was attentive & kind. She serviced us in both English & French, took our orders immediately & refilled water frequently. We went for noon on a Sunday, waited a out 35 minutes in line, not bad at all since this place is viral on social media. Drinks: Went for the tiramisu latte (cold) & pistachio latte (warm). Both live up to the hype. Food: passion fruit pancakes had super flavorful sauces, mix of yuzu passionfruit Jelly & hazelnut. The pancake itself was fluffy, but could be a bit more moist & buttery. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon & guacamole was sublime. TDLR: definitely worth the hype. Delicious food & drinks. Not a long line up for the value. Worth it A+++View more
I think people have brainwashed themselves into thinking this is a good brunch spot.. Week after week I see lineups at this place of these influencers all dressed up waiting to get in. Luckily, I was able to get a table right away & it proceeded to take 2 hours from start to finish to get our drinks & food. Is it because the place is so sought after or is it because the service is so slow? The pistachio latte is beautiful so if you want to take a pretty picture for Instagram, it's great.. but take away the crusted glass rim & it's a pretty mediocre coffee. The eggs Benedict was nothing to write home about & at 24$ with no side you can get better elsewhere. We also tried their pain perdu which was really good at first but it gets really sweet, real fast. Beautiful decor & ambience but at over 100$ for 2 ppl for brunch, it's a little too pretentious for my palette.View more
Best Combo: Mushroom Eggs Benedict & Latte PistacheView more
I loved the egg mushroom & truffle Benedict. The burrata wasn't that great. It was too watery not great.View more
It's so worth the hype, even if you are just going for the pistacchio latte... The place opens at 10 am every day. We got there at 10:30 & had to wait 35 minutes for a table. But you know what? It wasn't that bad since the waitstaff came outside & brought us all some chocolatines while we waited. Finally our table was ready & our waitress sat us by the window. It was the best view for the spectators waiting in line, lol. After she graciously answered all our questions, she took our order. I opted for the Merguez Shakshuka because it seemed like the most popular dish. My friend ordered the truffle & mushroom eggs benedict. Both dishes were equally delicious, but the pistacchio latte was definitely the highlight of our meal. I would definitely come back, even if it's just for the pistacchio latte :-)View more
After watching a post on Instagram, my friend & I went to this cozy place. We waited an hour & half to get in. The staff was kind enough to offer pastry & hot beverage for those who were waiting outside. We ordered Tiramisu & Pistachio latte which were amazing. We also ordered mushroom & truffle Eggs Benedict, Salmon egg Benedict & the toast sandwich. The food was very tasty, we found the sauce mouthwatering. The only negative point was that the food served cold. Overall experience was good but not worth an hour & half of waiting in cold weather for sure!View more
Spring brunches are in full swing! 🌸 Just had a Croque Madame: ham, béchamel, cheese, sunny-side-up egg, & bacon. It's like a breakfast symphony with each bite hitting a different note - except for the bacon, that's more like a tasty drum solo. 🥓🎶 #BrunchinLikeABoss #EggscellentCreationsView more
After seeing many posts from people, I've decided to try this place. It's a small cafe/breakfast place but the decor was quite cute. I ordered a pistachio latte which looked really nice & tasted quite good. I also ordered a mushroom & truffle Eggs Benedict. The truffle sauce was delicious (I LOVE truffles), & the plate looked very appetizing! I understand why so many people went to try this place! I'd like to go back & try their other menu items some day. So far so good!View more
I arrived 10 minutes before opening & managed to skip the line (there were already about 15-20 people ahead of me). The mushroom & truffle eggs benedict was delicious! Loved their homemade sauce & bread. The pistachio latte on the other hand was only okay, it looked prettier than it tasted. My friend enjoyed her regular coffee though. We were also lucky we got our food quickly but it seemed like everyone else waited a really long time. Many plates were ready & sitting on the countertop but wasn't being served.View more
Arrived at around 11am on a Sunday & waited 1h before getting seated. This restaurant is very popular for brunch so get ready to wait if coming on the weekends as they don't take reservations. While waiting in line, they handed out some chocolatines which was quite considerate! As for the food, the pistachio latte & the smoked salmon eggs Benedict were my favourite. The croque madame & merguez shakshuka were also well executed. I enjoyed the food & experience here but wouldn't come again & wait to get a seat.View more
Love the restaurant, our first time was wonderful, everything was exactly as we saw online, service was great very friendly staff, food was absolutely delicious, particularly the Benedict eggs! The only downside was the one hour wait time outside the restaurant, but I guess they are victims of their own success. Congratulations on the great restaurant.View more
We stopped in for a quick brunch before heading back home. The staff were attentive & we got seated quickly. The team there was also friendly We had two coffees Along with - Mushroom & Truffle Eggs Benedict : I would rate it's 4/5 because the truffle taste was overpowering with the rest of species they were using but the dish looked amazing ! - Yuzu Pear French Toast: we rate this 10/5! The textures & taste for the dish are complex & amazing ! You won't regret visiting & trying their food Also the atmosphere is beautiful & the interior design is beautiful for such a small spaceView more
I can see why this place is so popular - I came here with a few friends for brunch. Even before the place opened, there was quite a bit of a queue, so I recommend coming early to get a table since the restaurant is not extremely large.
