About

Antipasto delivers a focused menu centered on traditional Italian culinary techniques and authentic pizza preparations. Thin-crust pies are fired at high temperatures to achieve a characteristic char and crisp texture on the dough. The kitchen prioritizes high-quality imported ingredients such as buffalo mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, and extra virgin olive oil. Pasta dishes feature house-made noodles tossed in classic sauces that emphasize bold, regional flavors. The interior atmosphere maintains a functional, straightforward design that prioritizes the delivery of consistent, reliable comfort food. Guests navigate a selection of Mediterranean-inspired starters that highlight fresh vegetables and cured meats. Every plate reflects a commitment to structural simplicity and authentic preparation methods that define the broader Italian gastronomic tradition through refined, reliable, and approachable cooking standards.

Review Summary

Antipasto is widely regarded as a charming and reliable dining destination, celebrated for its unique atmosphere within a beautifully preserved historic train station in Saint Jovite. Many patrons praise the menu, specifically highlighting the authentic wood-fired pizzas, generous portion sizes, and consistently delicious pasta and veal dishes that cater well to both families and individuals. While the service is frequently described as warm, efficient, and exceptionally attentive, a small number of diners have noted occasional inconsistencies in food quality or lapses in service pacing during peak hours. Despite these minor points, the majority of visitors consider it a must-visit location in the Mont Tremblant area, offering great value and a welcoming, cozy environment that often warrants repeat visits.

If you're visiting Mont-Tremblant & want a true italian cuisine experience, you need to go to Antipasto. Originally opened in 1984, this beloved Italian restaurant later found its permanent home inside the beautifully restored Canadian Pacific Railway station, reopening on June 30, 1988. Stepping inside feels like stepping back in time, where the history of the building blends perfectly with the warm, lively atmosphere of the restaurant.

There's plenty of space for large gatherings, & as you walk through, you'll appreciate the character & stories held within the walls. The kitchen is spotless, & you can see how much care & attention the chefs put into every dish.

We came with a group of 16 & had an amazing time delicious food, welcoming service, & an experience that felt both special & authentic. If you're in Mont-Tremblant, make sure Anyipasto is on your list!

Being an selective person for italian cusine, this restaurant is by far the best for me when it comes to taste. Located perfectly in mont tremblant village with ample of free parking space, this restaurant offers great variety of pastas, pizzas & side dishes. As a vegetarian I order penne pasta in rose sauce, Arabiata, veg pizza, & must try garlic bread. Loved every dish on the table. Portion size is good enough. Keep yourself hungry to enjoy the meal.

Made reservations at this restaurant a week in advance for myself & my wife..when I got there wasn't too busy & we were seated in, what I would consider the less desirable area of the restaurant. Looks to me like they reserve the best area for larger groups on the side with a beautiful window & wood floors.
I ordered some appetizers one which was $20 smoked salmon which was terrible served with raw onions, yuck! Bruschetta was also poor quality, better at a place like East Side Marios.
My wife got a vegetarian pasta dish + extra goat cheese added, which made her sick that night, stomach cramps all night. Likely the extra cheese which was off.
I got a vegetarian pizza which was decent.
Overall, not the greatest experience next time would go to the other Italian place down the street which I had pizza from the night before, which was much better. In the end, the service was very good, polite & friendly, but it doesn't make up for the other poor quality: atmosphere & food.
Bill was $160
