Anorak excels in its primary offerings: a diverse selection of quality beers & complementary cuisine. Furthermore, the staff provided exceptional service, & the establishment itself possessed a remarkable ambiance. Highly recommended.
Our first time there, definitely WILL NOT BE OUR LAST!
We had the Sunday roast beef special, just awesome😋. Didn't know you're supposed to request it when you make your reservation, but Dalia, our amazing server, brought over Brenden, the chef, who graciously not only accommodated us, but made us feel like old friends. We also had a pound of delicious, plump, juicy chicken wings as a starter, just great! Had the pleasure of meeting Eric, the owner, who has clearly spent time & effort creating a great atmosphere & training a special staff.
They offer a sampling serving tray of any 4 of their beers, still haven't decided which one I liked better.
Great to go somewhere that not only lives up to the reviews but really surpasses them.
Stopped off for lunch at Anorak was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Service & food were excellent, Had the Anorak burger which was delicious & their fries are awesome. My son had the fish & chips which was good but way too big for his appetite. Great selection of beers on tap with many international beers. Will definitely come back when I am in the area.
I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Anorak, & I was thoroughly impressed, especially by the quality of the food.
The menu offers a wide variety of excellent food & beer options. While I wasn't drinking on this particular visit, the selection alone is enough to guarantee a return trip.
What really stood out was the food. Everything was great, but you absolutely must try the poutine-it's phenomenal! It's clear that they put a lot of care into their kitchen.
The atmosphere was welcoming, & with so many great options to choose from, I'm already looking forward to coming back soon to sample their impressive beer list.
The food & beer were excellent as usual. The big difference tonight was the exceptional service we received from our waitress Daphné. She made everything to find a spot for us even though the place was full. The best service we received since a long time.
Such an amazing place. Good food. Amazing staff, amazing atmosphere. Beer is awesome. My favorite place to meet friends.
Grab a beer & sit by the fire. Then, sit on the terasse or inside, which is super cozy for lunch or dinner. Then back to the fire for another pint...
Great on moto! Go do the 329 or the 364 & stop in.
Staff is amazing, always super friendly. The owners are too. You see them working hard cleaning & working hard with the staff. With owners like that, they deserve your patronage.
I came by for 1 beer, the Hakon a l'erable, after doing an errand in the vicinity of Anorak. Then Tomas threw a few logs on the outdoor fire pit & started a fire for me, even when I said I was just having one beer, with so many ambitious plans on my agenda for the rest of the day. So, I had to order a fantastic O'Riordan stout to complement the heat, aroma, & ambiance around me. It's such a perfect day not to be dismissed with chores, so I had to stay longer & have my dinner, a pound of their awesome perfectly spiced wings with Hawking, a beautiful authentic best bitter. In my opinion, the best best bitter in Quebec.
This was all Tomas' fault for lighting the fabulous beer garden outdoor fire pit. One simple beer turned into an delightful afternoon, way too many beers, too many calories, & pure joy for not missing out.

Such an incredible place run by the best people. Amazing atmosphere with live music & karaoke. If your a fan of delicious smoked meet & house made beer you'll fit right in.
Great selection of beers & good food. Efficient service but atmosphere was noisy & restaurant was cold inside due to all the doors to the outdoor terrace open on a chilly windy evening. Good side was lots of blankets available to wrap up. Friday night karaoke… in case you want to participate or avoid!
Nice place for post activity beer. Food was good but over priced & portions small. At 25$ a hamburger I got a small bowl of fries & no salad. Mayonnaise was also an extra 1$ charge for a small cup that didn't even last my fries.
Perfect in every way. I couldn't find a single flaw in this place as far as a brewery goes.
Attentive & friendly staff.
Excellent food.
The brewed beers are true works of craftsmanship.
The atmosphere-wow! Perfect for families & friends alike. & if you play your cards right, you might catch a local musician sharing their heartfelt talent.
I'm going to say it:
This is as good as it gets in Morin-Heights.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
Visited on july 5th, 2023, in the afternoon. Just like Lubiere mention, it's located just off Route 364 on a small street between the Route & the Main Street, it's the only building on the that street. A nice alpine style building, housing the brewpub & two others professional business (including a dentist). "Anorak" is a type of hooded coat, also known as a parka. Inside the decor has a cosy alpine feel to it, with large wooden pillars & cool antique decorations. I did eat there, but the food look good. However I did had a taster flight, only one kind of suck, the three others where quite good! & they do have beers to go (in 16 oz cans). It's do again!
After improvements to their menu over the past year they've now easily got one of the better restaurants in the Laurentians. The atmosphere, attention to detail, beer, games & theme nights are a great attraction to our town. A job well done.
