I went for the first time on a Wednesday recently because a friend invited me for a Trivia Night. The place was clean, the ambiance was great with a nice crowd.
They had great deals on food & drink. I ordered their chicken wings which were 2 for 1 on that day...the wings were delicious & the price & quantity ratio was fair. They also had specials on drinks which always makes a drink tastier when you can get it at a better price given the times.
Service was great, the servers were prompt & polite & courteous.
The Trivia was fun as well.
I'm definitely going back for their Trivia Night again!
Had a great time at Annie's sur le lac with my friends! We ordered a couple of drinks, a veg burger, fish tacos, fish & chips, & the chicken wings (Diablo) - hands down the best for spice lovers. The flavor & heat were just perfect! Food came out fresh, portions were generous, & the lakeside vibe made it even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting with friends.

My friend & I ate there today because it was the only place open. He had a fried chicken sandwich I had a well done hamburger . We also each had a soupe a l'ognion. When the soupe arrived it was cold & sent back & it took 1/2 hr to get it back & our second meals took a long time. When we both got home we both had severe stomach pain followed by diaherra. Not funny & will never eat there again because it was the first time that they opened during the winter . Not worth the money. They thanked us for being patient fine but both sick
There’s good reason Annie’s has withstood the test of time & earned it’s place as a Montreal institution.
Love the iconic fake palm trees as you look out into the lake. Really though, sweet patio. Good music playing. Nice servers!
got the chicken burger which was so friggin good. Really crispy. Great toasted buns. Fries on the side were that awesome kinda hand cut greasy fries the way they were made to be had! Awesome house seasoning on them, too.
The other dish was the sizzling fajitas which was a beautiful whole muscle meat chicken breast. Could have used some red or yellow peppers for colour but that’s ok. It was awesome!
I can't say it's great, nor bad. Just not very impressive. Definitely a victim of the inflation. Fajitas plate was 3 taco sized tortillas, & a thinned out chicken breast. Lots of peppers tough, peppers & onions are cheap. Jarred salsa, a dollop of plain sour cream, shaved romaine, & grated cheese. I did better in college. Definitely not worth the price. It tasted decent, as in fresh, but definitely meh, no zing, no soul. The chew on the tortillas was nice. Besides the view on the lake, I have no reason to come back.
