Really enjoyed Amaya. The food was very good, the service was exceptional, & the ambiance was great. Overall, it was a really nice experience & I'd definitely go back.

la nourriture etait tres bonne hier soir mais la serveuse au debut nous a donné un bon service mais elle a changé son visage des que on a donné des tips. Sa se fait pas de minimiser les tips des clients & de se facher à la minute qui suit, elle nous calculait plus, meme quand on partait cest nous on est venu lui dire bonne soirée. Respectez les tips des clients car cest pas obligatoire, merci!
I have to say my wife & i loved our experience at Amalia. The food was amazing from begging to end. We started off with the oysters & a beef tartare which were amazing & we had the shared meat plater as our main & the portions & quality of meat were top notch! We also loved the cozy ambiance & excellent serveice. We will definetly be going back & i highly recommend Amalia if your looking for a nice night out with amazing food!
Note: this is NOT an authentic Portuguese restaurant, it is an INSPIRED by Portuguese cuisine. First, the service was excellent. The ambience & decor was beautiful. Subtle music that adds a nice touch. The dishes were okay but not wow. The octopus was a little overcooked & had a'burnt' after taste. The lamb chops are small portions & unfortunately, over cooked. They came on a bed of purée sweet potatoes.The New York striploin was actually very good & very tender (medium). The cost for two people will run you about $100 per person. Overall the experience was 3.5/5

We came here for our 5th year anniversary & everything was impeccable. Marilou was our waitress & she was so amazing, accommodating & so thoughtful. The food, atmosphere & service were 1000/10!
From the food, to the atmosphere, to the professional service, Amalia is a prime example of a fantastic restaurant. The food platters are filling, tasty & amazing. Great place to visit if you are celebrating a special occasion. The decor is beautiful & the food timing was amazing. The drinks were tasty & rich in alcohol. Will definitely be back.
Loved our night at Amalia. It was a busy night, but Mary Lou was a star, attentive with a really natural, easy communication style that made everything feel smooth & fun.
Food was good overall, some hits & some misses, but for a Portuguese spot the piri piri chicken & bacalhau croquettes really stood out. Intimate, beautifully designed space, perfect for a date or special night out.
I recently celebrated my birthday with some friends. We were a group of 8. We sat at the chef's table. The restaurant is beautiful & the food was delicious , The staff was very welcoming & knowledgeable . The waiter came to let us know that our mains were taking longer than usual ( not that we noticed be abuse we were having such a good time) he compensated us with an oyster platter. Chapeau to the manager Xavier. He was very charming & personable which defines hospitality.
Première visite au Amalia & nous avons adoré l'expérience. Tout était excellent : le service, la nourriture & l'ambiance chaleureuse. Tout était parfait. Nous y retournerons certainement

J'ai commandé le menu steak frites, déjà pour commencer, menu à emporter sans ustensiles, sans fourchette sans culière rien , le steak omg degeulas, c'est super amer ça n'a aucun goût normal , ça saigne alors que j'ai insisté sur le fait que je le voulais bien cuit pas salé pas poivré pas de saveur just des morceaux des truc bizarre qui le rend purement amer en tabarnak !! & oui ça coûte 56 $ ! & lui y'a tellement d'huile c'est horrible!!
We were a group of 6 on friday & we had a great time. Their drinks are really & pretty much anything we ordered hit the spot. For groups i highly suggest to share the mixed grills & the paella.... but make sure you don't skip out on the pouding chomeur (yes not very Portugese, but it beats their natas by a long shot!)
La nourriture & les cocktails étaient excellents & le service était incroyable ! Merci à Xavier de nous avoir si bien reçues, je me suis régalée. Je recommande ce restaurant !!!
