Nous avons passé une soirée extraordinaire, & le service était impeccable. Le chef est venu à notre table à deux reprises, ce qui a été très apprécié. La chaleur de sa cuisine & son authenticité nous ont profondément touchés. Nous aimons découvrir des talents culinaires, & ici, il s'agit véritablement d'un grand talent. The experience was great but hard to look at the bill at the end. You really have to enjoy artistry & creativity in the food you eat

peu trop salé ce qui masque le goût du homard & les crevettes nordiques qui suis aussi un peu trop salé mais dans l'ensemble excellent un des meilleurs services à Montréal

The restaurant was accommodating as we showed up without a reservation (we had tried contacting them multiple times without any success - we had a gift card & did not want to pay on open table without using our gift card)
The restaurant is cozy & the staff was welcoming.
Overall, the carte blanche menu was good but nothing to write home, especially not for this price. The highlight was the dorade crudo & the granita.
The cocktails (mezcalita & margarita) were too strong to be enjoyable but the wine that was recommended during our meal was great.
We did feel full with 11 services, which was one of our worries about smaller portions.
We had been to Alma twice prior to its revamp, & had a fantastic experience, but this time didn't live up to the expectations.
We had an amazing experience at Alma! The restaurant has a great atmosphere in a sweet neighbourhood. The service was impeccable - the staff were incredibly hospitable & attentive. We opted for the nine-course tasting menu with wine pairings, & every single dish was outstanding, the wine truly amazing. It was such a nice touch to hear the story behind each course. It was perfect for a special occasion!
Le service était excellent. Par contre, la nourriture n'était pas à la hauteur. Les portions sont très petites & les plats en sauce sont beaucoup trop salés.

Nous sommes allé à Alma avec un couple d'amis il y'a quelques jours.
Devoir payer la facture avant d'avoir commencé à manger. Très peu chic pour un restaurant de ce standing.
Ensuite, donner 18% de tips minimum d'avance, alors que la serveuse nous a parler sèchement durant le service fait Vraiment mal au coeur.
Enfin les portions ridicules tiennent plus de l'échantillon.
Très déçu je ne conseille pas, nous sommes parti avec l'impression de s'être fait voler.

Je suis allée au Alma récemment. Autant que la nourriture était bonne & l'emplacement joli, les serveurs m'ont rendu très inconfortable & en lisant les commentaires, je vois que c'est chose courante. Nous avons soupé entre amis croyant Alma l'endroit parfait pour célébrer dans une atmosphère chaleureuse, mais nous nous sommes fait dire d'une façon irrespectueuse que nous faisions trop de bruit. Nous comprenons que c'est une ambiance conviviale & romantique, par contre il n'y a aucune excuse pour faire sentir les clients qu'ils ne sont pas à leur place, d'autant plus que nous parlions aussi fort que le reste des convives. C'est la première fois que cela nous arrive & nous avons été pris par surprise par ce commentaire déplacé.
À regarder les commentaires, ce restaurant ne se tient responsable d'aucun défaut. À la fin du souper, nous avons communiqué notre inconfort & le personnel ne s'est jamais excusé & a réitéré sa position ferme.
