We got our stuff & that's it, no more service. Asked for more water & coffee refills when food was delivered to our table. Never saw our waitress again. Waited 20mins after eating for the bill, ended up standing near the counter where you are waiting to be seated. Blonde waitress asked if everything was ok. She apologized repeatedly, wish she was our waitress but she wasn't. After another 5mins our waitress finally gave us the bill. Not impressed, won't be backView more
Despite the large crowd during F1 weekend, we were served surprisingly quickly. I really appreciated the customizable menu option, where you can build your own plate by choosing eggs & whatever sides you like. The food was tasty, & overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.View more
Diner style atmosphere but much more pleasant & welcoming!
Extensive menu & huge portions of food. Was hard to choose as I really liked the look of everything their menu offered.
We chose 2 dishes to share & struggled to finish them.
Smoothies looked delicious as i saw others have them but i chose a moccachino bowl, Coffee in a bowl literally, & Delicious too!
We ended up eating Copenhagen (eggs benedict with salmon) mash with cheese on the side & a poutine variation with potatoes, curd cheese, regular cheese, scambled eggs & sausage. Good start to the day, defo not overpriced as you get a lot for your money.
If you're a small eater, then its best to share. The staff were excellent & service was super quick.View more
Busy brunch & breakfast spot. The coffee was burnt & eggs Benedict were lacking freshness, the hollandaisesauce was off. There's always a lineup so be prepared to wait, especially on weekends.View more
They are not worried about the food presentation. They just throw a lot of things on the plate. My egg was very raw, the grapefruit juice very bitter. The staff dint ask me why I didn't drink my juice. I just left there thinking about the bad experience & how much I hate to pay expensive about a bad experienceView more
I had an amazing experience, perfect for a relaxed & special occasion. The stuff we're friendly & welcoming. The food was delicious & I loved their breakfast plate with perfectly cooked eggs, fresh fruits & crispy potatoes. Highly recommend to everyone ^^View more
Well it's not my first brunch at Allo mon coco, I've been to other branches like marche central, acadie & mont-royal, but this branch was a bit weird. I ordered hard boiled eggs, got oeuf à la coque instead. I told the waitress the case she told me i'm wrong until i peeled the egg & it popped with the liquidy yellow. The waitress apologised said she was new but all I saw was her alone on the floor taking care of the customers. Do they not train their employees or at least have someone a bit more experienced on the shift with the new staff? Also, since when do you guys charge 1$ for the take-away box? Very weird.View more
Tons of seating so there was no wait. Staff was extremely friendly & bilingual so no issues there. The portions are HUGE so come hungry. The eggs Benedict were perfect with runny yokes. Coffee was topped off constantly. Great place for the price.View more
Truly one of the best places to go for brunch, especially if you love eggs. There's a wide variety on the menu, both sweet & savory. I personally had a Grilled Cheese Reuben which it was absolutely delicious. The waiters are very attentive & responsive if we needed anything.View more
Potatoes & eggs are great. DO NOT ORDER THE STEAK & EGGS. They always leave 50% fat on the steak. Not worth it. Stick to the breakfast menu.View more
Faint smell of chlorine when you walk in. Food is slightly pricey but portions are large. In terms of the quality of the food, my eggs benedict were drowned by hollandaise sauce. The english muffin was so soggy it had the texture of a wet sock. How this place is so popular is beyond meView more
This diner is conveniently located near the subway station & has a beautifully decorated interior, with plenty of seating & a spacious, bright atmosphere. I ordered the cochonnet brunch, while my partner had the smoked meat egg Benedict. My cochonnet portion seemed a bit small, & the crepe mentioned on the menu was more like a pancake. Although I requested my eggs to be cooked over medium, they arrived over easy (see picture). Overall, the food was tasty; I particularly enjoyed the mashed potatoes, though my partner found them a bit bland. Regarding the smoked meat egg Benedict, he found the meat to be slightly salty, & the combination with hollandaise sauce was a bit much, but the portion size was generous. I also tried the peach soda bubble drink, which was delicious. The service was decent; the server lacked expression & didn't check on us frequently, but the food was delivered promptly.View more
This was not my first experience (my previous experience was in another branch), everything was cold, from coffee to ordering food. There were four of us: Avocado with sweet cheese (cold), Smoky meat (cold). Two orders of Choco Coco Deluxe, eggs & bacon were cold, but the crepe was good. We were very disappointed & did not enjoy our brunch & left with a bad feeling!View more
Service was nice & quick. Our server was friendly & we felt welcomed. Food taste was good specially the egg avocado swiss cheese Benedict. Food quantity & quality was good.View more
Nice brunch place. There are several in Montreal. The portions are huge. Their crepes were very thick; they were more like pancakes, which disappointed me. Had the eggs sunny side up. The breakfast items came with nice toast. I was surprised they pre-buttered all of the toast. The fruit & cream was great. The star of the plate was the allo mon coco potatoes! Amazing stuff; I could have eaten a plate of just that! Good coffee; great attentive service. It's a solid choice for brunch.View more
