Visiting from the UK & absolutely LOVE this location! The service was beyond exceptional Tuesday with Alex(andre) greating us with the biggest smile & Peter the manager visiting our table to check in on us, the quality of the food & to reminisce about music (went to Simple Minds that night!)The food was delicious, quick to the table & with SUCH great service! We had such a great experience we came back the next day & brought 12 of us from my family & my partners family! Again the greeting was so welcoming & service exceptional from the lovely Elodie (hope I spelled it right!), the wide variety that the lot of us ate was really enjoyed by all, prepared exactly as we'd asked, Peter popped by to see how our concert went & check that we had everything we needed again! Such a special get together with excellent food, exceptional service & it's fast, really clean & welcoming! Thanks guys! Allô Mon Coco is a safe pick if you're unsure where to go for breakfast or brunch. The food & drinks were great, the service was solid, & the prices were on par with other brunch spots. While it may not have the charm of some smaller independent places, the bigger space & consistent quality make it a reliable choice. The atmosphere inside was pleasant enough, but it's worth noting that this particular location is surrounded by a few crackheads. One even hit his crack pipe outside the window next to us while cheerfully waving at kids & parents inside. A moment I found absurdly amusing, though it might be off-putting to some. All in all, it's a good spot if you don't mind the quirky surroundings.View more

I went to order breakfast for takeaway. The waitress that helped me not only was kind but she made her job in the speediest way possible. I went with a toddler & he was terribly hungry so she got the task quite quickly. Food was delicious!View more

10/10 experience, we were a large party of 5 adults & 3 kids, & had a fab breakfast! We personally ordered the avocado benedicts (the creamiest i've ever had) & french toast, & the peach juice, everything was excellent & we all had a fulfilling meal. The staff was so welcoming too.View more

Not going back, I was anticipating & excited to try their breakfast poutine. I ordered the Quebec poutine with porc effilochée...it was not good. The sauce look old pasty & not fresh. It was hard to distinguish the flavours, with the sauce in the first place , the porc & the caramelize onions along side the mushrooms.... Presentation out of 5 was more like 1. L'Oeufrier's poutine way better & looks fresher. Very disappointing to pay the price. We were three & there were two other tables in the whole restaurant & coffee took long to be served. I ate my poutine like a big boy....but that is the last time. Honest review from someone who rarely eats breakfast in a restaurant. Next time I'll make my own poutine from home.View more
