Dropped by while in the area. This place has that old school casse croute feel & they're so fast! I ordered a smoked meat poutineand 3 hotdogs & by the time I paid & walked to the pickup area, it was ready. The hot dog was good & for 1.60 each it was great! The poutine had a generous amount of squeaky cheese curds & smoked meat & the gravy was very well balanced. My only gripe was that the fries are a little bit sweet. My personal preference is for fries to not be sweet in a poutine but overall the poutine was very good. Taking it on the road was a little bit hard because everything was straight lava for about 20 mins but that's because everything is fresh out of the fryer. If I'm in the area, I'd definitely come back
Endroit sympathique sans prétention. Les prix sont bien, la portion de la grande poutine est gigantesque (bon pour 2). La poutine est bonne mais les frites trempaient dans la soupe de sauce BBQ qui me rappel pas mal celle de St-Hubert. Beaucoup de fromage & bonnes frites. Je suggère une canette de boisson gazeuse au lieu de la fontaine puisque nos boisson étaient flate.
Sans doute la meilleure poutine traditionnelle avec hot dog savoureux & tous les délices habituels d'une "cantine" des 70 dernières années au Québec. Attention: on n'accepte que l'argent comptant.
Meilleure poutine que j ai jamais mangée pendant 30 ans. Maintenant j habite à l extérieur & ça me manque énormément. Si j avais ses recettes j ouvrirais un Alfa ici à Thetford Mines 😜
Sans aucun doute le meilleur fast food qui représente l'époque où nous avions des vrais casse-croûte tout cela à Longueuil. Je dirais que c'est emblématique une institution peu importe que je sois pour des hot-dogs toaster un hamburger bien sûr. L'incontournable Poutine ou un sous-marin. Tout ce qu'ils font est incroyable
A lot of people online have said that this is the "Mecca" of poutine & they are right. This place has one of the best poutine I have ever eaten. If you go there, order a regular sized classic poutine; it's the best way to enjoy the original taste. The service is very fast (I'm talking max 30 seconds from ordering to getting your food). Note that this place is cash only however.

Service rapide & efficace! La poutine est débile, le parfait mélange de fromage, frites & sauce! Les prix sont abordables! Apportez vous de l'argent car il n'ont pas interac/crédit mais y'a un guichet ATM disponible sur place. Je recommande!
Bonne poutine. Nous y allions pour tester une des meilleures poutine du coin. Frites & fromage 10/10 sauce bon... pas mauvaise mais goûte la sauce en poudre c'est un peu décevant. Mais quand même eu 7.5/10
Alfa hot dog is located further out of the city center, retaining its local laid back chutzpah. This place is cash only (ATM on site) & the line quickly wraps around the building with neighborhood regulars - a reflection of its grassroots popularity. Alfa certainly does not skimp on the poutine magic. Cheese curds were extra squeaky & gravy was extra smooth. While drenched in gravy, the fries retained a fresh-fried crisp exterior yet soft interior. Smoked meat sandwich was simple & packed a punch: layers & layers of quality smokey meat. If you have time for a mild trek to Alfa, this homegrown fast food spot will not disappoint any poutine lover.
Je vous assure ce n'est pas la nostalgie qui parle mais je suis très heureux d'avoir pu connaitre le Alfa depuis que je suis jeune. Leur poutine, sous-marin, frite, hot-dog, tout dans leur menu est juste simplement que délicieux ces vraiment ma récompense du mois quand je veux vraiment manger comme un roi. Ils ont selon moi l'un si pas le meilleur sous-marin que j'ai pu gouter & leur prix de leur hot-dog reste imbattable ces vraiment à essayer si vous n'êtes jamais aller encore, ne vous privez pas!
