Every time I go into Alambika, I do at least three loops. You think you've seen it all, mais il y a toujours quelque chose que vous avez manqué - ou que vous devez simplement sentir encore une fois.

The selection is exceptional. You might go in for yuzu bitters & leave with those… & une crème à raser brillante, & suddenly feel like fig & fennel are essential to your life until the next visit.

What I love most is the restraint. It just quietly reminds you that small upgrades matter - qu'une simple goutte de saveur dans un beau verre peut transformer le plus simple des drinks en quelque chose digne de votre balcon.

I went to Alambika right before closing & still had a great experience. The store is beautifully laid out & very pleasant to shop in. I asked for help & the owner was incredibly kind & knowledgeable. I picked up the yuzu syrup, which is perfect for making an awesome yuzu sour. They also carry a wide selection of non-alcoholic spirits & Japanese bitters, which is hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend this place my only wish is that they stayed open just one hour later, since 6 PM feels a bit early (for me)
