Nice ambiance, & the service was great! The server was nice & helpful with anything needed. They refilled the water often. The beef was tasty & fresh.Delicious sushi! I ordered the assorted combo. It was a nice mix of sushi & sashimi. It's fresh & tasty. They even brought a sweet treat for my friends birthday, that was very yummy!
Lunch options are available with a soup or a salad. The salad dressing was on point! They even have a homemade soya sauce.View more
This is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants i have ever been to. It is creative & elegant. The food had amazing vibrant colors & also taste amazing. I would love to go back here!
We ordered the Pétoncles & Avocat & it was soo simple yet delicious. This was my favorite item!
The chicken Katsu was very delicious. I loved the crispyness of the Katsu. It added a nice texture to it.
The sashimi was so delicious & good quality. You can tell the difference between good quality sashimi & mediocre quality. Presentation is good too.View more

Host was nice, one waiter don’t look too friendly, no smiles, just serious face but he did refill my glass when needed..that’s a good sign..
luckily my waitress was more friendly & nice! She recommended we take the “besame mucho” & sushi sashimi which was the lunch hour special menu..most of the stuffs on platter was raw..it’s what sushi is about anyways..I’m not used to eating lots of raw pieces LOL..it was quite an experience too! Also, the sushi pieces which was deep fried..it was overdone..like it was fried multiple times..super dry..it didn’t feel like it was fresh..as if it was leftovers..🙁

Yesterday ,i tried Aikawa restaurant. I got sick few hours later after eating only one bite of sashimi, & I didn't know it is made of raw meat either. It was my first time trying Japanese food . My girlfriend ordered sushi & she told me that it was very ordinary,comparing other sushi restaurants like "Kyomi " in Lasalle. They did not have a good service either. Maybe we were new to their restaurant & they had just 2 waitresses., as I saw one waitress was dedicated to a table beside us that were 4 old customers. I think this restaurant is overrated. I don't recommend them at all.

via Libroentrées de beignets au crabe à carapace molle & pétoncles: convenable. Mais les rouleaux étaient mal faits (ils se brisaient facilement), peu de goût & texture. Sashimi au thon: coupé dans le mauvais sens, manquait de tendreté & texture désagréable. Service convenable. Si le système avait permis de donner 2 étoiles & demi, c'est ce que j'aurais accordé.
via LibroWe took the beef sashimi & the fried crab for starters & it was amazing! We than took the sushi platter for 2 & honestly it was a bit disappointing because the sushis presented were basic so i don't think it was worth the price. The overall experience was good. The restaurant is clean but the service was a lil slow.

Mon avis concernant ce restaurant est que les sashimis sont très bien fait aussi bien que le reste. Ils ont un large choix de boissons, le cadre du restaurant est bien beau & le service bien.
Really a very nice place. This is far better than sushi, this is cuisine. I mean I am a sushi eater, & some places you just can't trust. But at Aikawa, I have been served the best meals ever. Amazing sashimi cuts, delicious tempura.. everything is just superb.
Perfect combination of chic & affordable eating. I go out with a family of 6, so it's nice to fit it in a nice bill. Always friendly & kind staff make the experience so much better as well. Finest cooking, always fresh seafood in the sushi & sashimi. Just love these perfect cuts that I haven't quite found at all the other sushi places.
Japanese food at its best! Great dining experience, & at a very convenient location. It's just off the 40, so easy to get to. My family & I like going out every weekend together to eat, & this is definitely our favorite place. The chefs make excellent rolls, perfect sashimi cuts. It's a really great sushi place, for anybody who loves it like we do!
