Amazing experience at Aikawa Restaurant, as always. We've had Dave as our server many times, & we always request him because his service is consistently excellent. He's friendly, attentive, professional, & really makes the experience special. The food is always delicious, fresh, & beautifully served. Highly recommend Aikawa - & definitely ask for Dave!
I went with my daughter for lunch yesterday, & the service & food could not have been better. Everyone who looked after us was so nice & extremely attentive. The food was delicious as it is always is. Aikawa is one of our favourite sushi restaurants. Highly recommend.
We had dinner here for our 20th anniversary & the food was sublime, & service was attentive. Excellent experience & cannot be compared to all you can eat sushi. The quality here is at a higher level, fine dining experience. The dessert was a decadent rich chocolate mousse topped with vanilla ice cream & chocolate sauce. We left very happy.

January 5, 2025- Excellent! We have been eating there more or less regularly for five years. We went back on January 5, 2025 & it is always as EXCELLENT. The tables are sufficiently spaced - The level of background music is in good taste- so you can spend a very nice time with friends while enjoying excellent sushi & other Japanese specialties. The staff is very attentive to your customer's needs. That is the best place in the West Island to eat great sushi & invite friends. Prices have increased as everywhere else, but they reasonably increased & the high quality of food & service as well justify this increase - The same thing cannot be said of other restaurants (sushi or else) where the bill is enormously increased without improving neither the quality of meals nor the service. & when these places have INCREASED the bill a little bit, they have greatly REDUCED the quality of meals, the quantity of what is in your plate & the service. Do the math & you'll understand what is reasonable & what is not.
Sushi is fresh & well made. Environ is clean & simple, professional. Service sometimes lacks attentiveness but is kind & welcoming. Reasonable prices for the quality & location. I make it a point to eat here when visiting - very enjoyable.
Most people are very selective these days about the restos we go to, as we all want value for our money. Aikawa is the ideal restaurant if you want wonderful sushi in a beautiful décor, where tables are semi-sectioned off for a more intimate environment (i.e. you can carry on a conversation easily). We're a group of four friends & we all found the service attentive & professional. We are already planning to return for our next get-together!
Home from Ontario so first time seeing the new location. It is beautifully designed & very welcoming. All the staff were super friendly & attentive. The sushi is consistently delicious. We have yet to find specialty rolls anywhere that are as good as Aikawas!

From appetizers to dessert, each dish was expertly prepared with a delightful burst of flavors. The extensive menu catered to a variety of preferences, & the presentation was top-notch. The attention to detail in both the decor & the cuisine showcased a commitment to quality. Moreover, the barman, David, skillfully crafted drinks that complemented the overall dining experience. The staff's attentiveness & genuine enthusiasm added a personal touch, making the visit memorable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful culinary journey. It's a place where every aspect, from service to cuisine, is meticulously curated for a fantastic dining adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here & look forward to returning.
