We were a large group of about 30 people & the restaurant seemed to be majorly understaffed. Arrived at 6:30pm & received food at 9pm. Yes that is correct 3 1/2 hours waiting for food! Most of the food tasted ok with the exception of the cold miso soup & the flavorless chicken teriyaki. On a positive note the staff was apologetic & polite but were overwhelmed. The tempura vegetables, sushi & salmon teriyaki all tasted good. Finally the tiramisu dessert was amazing. I would give them another try. Perhaps with a smaller group.
The food was amazing, the service was good, but the note i left when i made the reservation was not read which led to an embarrasing situation for my girlfriend.
P.s, they hide the wasabi under the orange slices which we only discovered with one piece of sushi left.
We really enjoyed our meal which was delicious, fresh & beautiful.
Service was efficient & very pleasant.
Music was a little loud & could do without the tv even if it's to show different sushi variations. Would go again.
I recently had supper at your restaurant with a dear friend & we both absolutely loved our meal. From the appetizers, to the main sushi meal, our experience at Aikawa merits a repeat visit in the near future.

Took my wife & kids to the restaurant for her birthday; mostly had maki. Enjoyed the sushi a lot, the variety of flavours was great. Service was excellent; really like the decor with the artwork. 'Adam & Eve' dessert was very good, kids found the Snowball too sweet.
