I went with my daughter for lunch yesterday, & the service & food could not have been better. Everyone who looked after us was so nice & extremely attentive. The food was delicious as it is always is. Aikawa is one of our favourite sushi restaurants. Highly recommend.
Aikawa Sushi has quickly become my go-to spot for Japanese cuisine in the West Island. The minimalist aesthetic, with soft lighting, creates a tranquil atmosphere.
I've visited this place several times now, their sushi is truly exceptional & beyond the sushi, it also offers a selection of other Japanese dishes.
The staff is friendly & are always happy to offer recommendations & explain the different dishes.
Reservations are highly recommended.
The service here was wonderful. I ordered the poke bowl for lunch & it was love at first bite. I highly recommend this place for a quiet lunch by yourself, witn a friend or for for business.

A wonderful night out for 4 of us. Impeccable service! Excellent food & incredible choice.... Highly recommend & will be back. Tables are also nicely spaced, so having a conversation was pleasant.

I recently dined at this restaurant & had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The ambiance was inviting, the service provided by the staff, particularly Renee, was exceptional, she was AMAZING indeed 💕👌 & the culinary offerings were nothing short of impressive. From appetizers to dessert, each dish was expertly prepared with a delightful burst of flavors. The extensive menu catered to a variety of preferences, & the presentation was top-notch. The attention to detail in both the decor & the cuisine showcased a commitment to quality. Moreover, the barman, David, skillfully crafted drinks that complemented the overall dining experience. I have been a repeat client over the years & I recommend Aikawa for all Sushi lovers. Unfortunately, the speed of the service is falling behind & this needs to be corrected. Waiting for over an hour for our order to come in is very annoying.

Host was nice, one waiter don’t look too friendly, no smiles, just serious face but he did refill my glass when needed..that’s a good sign..
luckily my waitress was more friendly & nice! She recommended we take the “besame mucho” & sushi sashimi which was the lunch hour special menu..most of the stuffs on platter was raw..it’s what sushi is about anyways..I’m not used to eating lots of raw pieces LOL..it was quite an experience too! Also, the sushi pieces which was deep fried..it was overdone..like it was fried multiple times..super dry..it didn’t feel like it was fresh..as if it was leftovers..🙁
Recommended for sushi lovers here..pretty nice atmosphere here too.
