Review Summary

Overall impressions highlight Adelina Pasta Bar for fresh, house-made pasta that is consistently al dente, with generous portions and flavorful options, a parmesan cheese wheel that adds flair, and a menu that allows adding vegetables at no extra charge; many diners note that the quality feels restaurant worthy even in a mall food court, and sauces like tomato, rosé, and Alfredo receive praise along with creamy textures and robust meat sauces; the experience is boosted by attentive service in many visits and a friendly, sometimes standout staff, with frequent mentions of a special, comforting vibe. At the same time, reviews are mixed on certain points: some dishes arrive undercooked or bland, sauces can be thin or lacking depth, and there are occasional concerns about gluten-free preparation and cross-contamination; service can be uneven, and a few comments describe the setting as fast food in a mall rather than a full Italian restaurant, which colors expectations about value and consistency; overall, flavors and freshness drive strong sentiment and many plan to return, though a handful of visits suggest room for improvement in cooking consistency and menu variety

Lovely family owned business! Super good & flavourful dishes. So cool to see authentically made pasta at Fairview! The massive pecorino cheese wheel is a huge bonus!

I was super excited to try out this place when I saw it online since I love another restaurant that has the same concept & it's a hit. I absolutely love pasta. I came from further out just to try it the next day cause I was so excited.

Unfortunately it was really disappointing. The pasta needs to definitely be cooked a little longer & the sauces were bland. The meat sauce was ok, but the rose was not it.

Another thing is that the portion was not at all as advertised. This is my plate before I started to eat & it's really really small… I didn't expect that.

Also, I saw another review about the cashier being a bit rude & I thought maybe it was just me but I agree. The girl that was cooking the pasta & sauce was really nice though.

For a new restaurant usually things like this don't happen. Maybe one day I'll go back but for now no. It is cool that they put the pasta in a cheese wheel, but that's about it.

I took the tomato basil with some spinach & rapini. The sauce itself was very tart. Pasta had a good texture. Needed salt & pepper , very bland even after it was put into the cheese wheel.

Really impressed for a mall food court
Fresh pasta & they toss the pasta in a big parm wheel.
Reasonable priced & definitely worth it

Excellent service & food! Exactly what Fairview Mall needed. The pasta was absolutely delicious 😋. It was fresh, flavorful, & ready with barely any wait time. & don't even get me started on the Parmesan wheel! Watching my pasta get coated in that thick layer of Parmesan was pure satisfaction.
Thank you, Adelina, for bringing Fairview Mall what it was missing. I'll definitely be back! 🤍

The food was bland & completely lacking in flavor. I tried to convince my 9 year old daughter to have pasta here with me because it looked higher end, but she insisted on going to Tevere, which I already find pretty mediocre. Honestly, I was really disappointed to spend $16-18 on such underwhelming food. Even the parmesan wheel pasta toss, which seemed like a fun touch, didn't make it taste any better. I actually liked the sauce from Tevere better, even though their pasta was way overcooked.

I was excited to try Adelina Pasta Bar since it recently opened at Fairview, especially after having Lulu's the week before & hoping for something similar in the West Island. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations.

I ordered the Gigi alla Nona & Pollo Alfredo. The noodles were undercooked, & both dishes were lacking in sauce & flavour. On top of that, the cheese wheel felt more like a gimmick. The server barely scraped any cheese onto the pasta, which was disappointing & made it feel more for show than actual taste.

For the price, I expected a lot more substance & flavour. It's hard not to compare, but this just doesn't come close to Lulu's. The menu itself doesn't offer much variety, & nothing about the food felt memorable or special. Honestly, for a little more money, I'd rather go to one of the established Italian restaurants in the area & have a better experience.

Overall, it was underwhelming, & I don't see myself going back.
