First time trying a smoked meat sandwich here in Montreal & this is literally the best sandwich I've tried. I was looking for a halal smoked meat sandwich & this was the only one here. It was so tasty & the meat was high quality, making the sandwich just amazing. Also top notch customer service. Overall amazing experience & will definitely becoming back for more. I recently had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant & was truly impressed with the smoked meat-everything from the texture to the flavor & even the fries were spot on. It was one of the best smoked meat experiences I've had in Laval, & my wife, who's not typically a fan of smoked meat, was even surprised by how much she enjoyed it. Needless to say, we left with a great first impression & were excited to return!
For my birthday, we decided to get the family-sized smoked meat platter for takeout, hoping to enjoy the same quality at home. While the flavor was still excellent, we were a bit disappointed with the overall experience. The bread was dry, & unfortunately, the smoked meat itself lacked the same tenderness & juiciness we had initially experienced in the restaurant. It wasn't quite the same as our first visit, & the difference was noticeable.
I understand that takeout can sometimes differ from dining in, but I thought it was worth mentioning since our first experience was so memorable. I'd still love to come back, but I hope this can be looked into for future takeout orders.
