Review Summary

83 Nord is widely regarded as a stylish and welcoming destination in Mont Tremblant, celebrated for its cozy atmosphere, bright interior, and pleasant outdoor patios. Visitors frequently praise the high quality of the coffee, specialty drinks, and artisanal pastries, noting the shop as an ideal stop for those traveling along the local trail. Beyond the cafe, the location serves as a well-curated gourmet market offering local goods and gifts. While the majority of guests appreciate the friendly service and relaxing environment, some feedback suggests that prices can be on the higher end, and occasionally, consistency regarding food variety or specific beverage preparation may vary.

Update 2026: having visited many more times, the coffee is still great, but staff are not warm. Their pastries come from Montreal so its still hit or miss on the freshness.

Everything is so good, except the croissant. I dont understand why they would offer supermarket grade croissants

Great coffee. We went there for more than a cookie & they had sold out of breakfast sandwiches as of 10am. Also smoothies which are listed on the menu were unavailable. So we had muffins which were yummy but not what we had come for.

This is the second time we've spent time in this part of Quebec, & it's the second time 83 Nord has become our headquarters. It's much more than a bakery. You can stop in for a pastry, a smoothie, breakfast, or a sandwich, sit down for a while, & then browse the small grocery section, which is full of things worth taking home. Great pasta, tomato sauces, frozen fish, frozen cakes… every time we stop by, we end up finding something new to try.

The whole place is beautifully done, & everyone who works there is genuinely friendly. If you're cycling the Petit Train du Nord, it's right along the trail, & there's a playground & splash pad next door, making it an easy stop for families. One recommendation: don't leave without trying the marinated salmon skewers. They're fantastic. Five stars from me. I'd give six if I could.
