I wanted to love this place - the atmosphere is really warm, the decor is quirky. I ordered the yogurt bowl mainly because it came with matcha ganache (& I love matcha). However, it came out as a bowl of enough yogurt to fill a large tub, a thin layer of granola on one side, some slices of banana & a few raspberries. I asked the staff where the matcha & coulis was & they all seemed a little confused, even when I showed them the photo of their menu. One girl put some blueberry coulis on it, which I was thankful for, but it was still pretty disappointing...Voir plus

The atmosphere is great. This place used to be a butcher's & it still has the old tilework from that time. It's very cool & eclectic, & interesting. A lot of plant life also Had the salmon bennies & a latte. Very very good food. In my top 5 food experiences of all time I would sayVoir plus

Went for breakfast on a Friday morning & was disappointed with the service. The cafe was not very busy & it took around 40 minutes for our breakfast. & was about 15 minutes before they even noticed we hadn't received our black drip coffee yet. The menu sounds amazing, but I don't think the staff are capable of even making many of the things on the menu. The avocado toast was horrible, unseasoned with cold, soft bread. A sense of urgency would be good here. The music & overall ambiance is amazing, the art in the restaurant is stunning, however some of the things hanging could use a good dusting.Voir plus

Great atmosphere & I also liked the food. Bring some time as they are really slow; long wait even if the restaurant was not full. Simple things take too long & seem to frustrate the staff (e.g. ask for some water). Looks like they should improve their organization to better serve clients in this really nice location.Voir plus

Strolled in at night, ordered strawberry Manitoba, which was amazing. Also tried their vegan curry dish, it was surprisingly good. One of the guests sitting next to us told us he comes there for this dish regularly. Great place for anytime of the day. We plan on coming back another time for breakfast.Voir plus

very nice place! we often go here with family & friends. i like the big menu, never get tired of it. always fresh cakes, kids love honey cake. the girls at the checkout smile, always cheer you up & help you choose. i recommend going for lunch, my choice is pancakes with salmon & poke!Voir plus
