Westt Steakhouse is widely praised for impeccable service, a refined ambiance, and steaks that are consistently cooked to perfection. The menu earns compliments for rich flavors and thoughtful presentation, from tomahawk and New York strip to lobster and filet mignon, with desserts like crème brûlée and chocolate soufflé that seal the experience. The open kitchen, elegant decor, and attentive staff contribute to a sophisticated, welcoming vibe that makes occasions feel special, while the wine list complements each course nicely. Some reviews note that the live band can be loud at times, but the overall atmosphere remains lively and upscale. This spot is repeatedly recommended for celebrations and special dinners, delivering memorable meals, dependable quality, and a sense of hospitality that keeps guests returning.
Steak (Rib Eye) was very nice visually, but extremely fatty, so I wasn't impressed. Should have taken a Filet Mignon or other. Food is extremely pricey for what you get. A steak at Madison or Baton Rouge would have been better & way cheaper.
We had dinner there last Saturday as a late Valentine's Day dinner & I hadn't been for a few years & I can't believe how this place still delivers on all levels after being in business so long: Excellent service, great food & nice ambiance! It's a little pricey, but definitely worth it for a special occasion!
Greatest steak in Mtl hands down! Would recommend the tomahawk. Went on three occasions, some variability, but overall amazing aged steak! Vast selection of surfs & turfs, with occasional live music & a beautiful deco

The food at 50 West was good & flavorful, but unfortunately the live band was far too loud, which made it impossible to have a conversation with my guests. I was really looking forward to enjoying both the atmosphere & the company, but the noise completely overshadowed the experience. If the music volume were toned down, this place could easily be a top-notch spot.
40 Westt is the epitome of fine dining. The food was of exceptional quality & bursting with flavor, effortlessly transporting you away from your everyday worries. For an appetizer, I indulged in Louisiana grilled oysters. Each bite was a delightful symphony of textures, with the parmesan & garlic butter creating a harmonious dance on my palate.
The main course was a tomahawk steak, beautifully presented & cooked to perfection. The buttery, succulent meat was so rich that I couldn't help but sing in delight. To conclude my exquisite dining experience, I savored the crème brûlée, a dessert that was simply divine.
The service at 40 Westt was nothing short of exceptional. It was evident that the staff worked with passion & dedication, as evidenced by their meeting before opening the restaurant.
The ambiance of the restaurant was pure class. Beyond the delectable food & impeccable service, I was captivated by the culinary artistry displayed by the chefs in front of us. The walls adorned with paintings of naked women & jazz art added to the overall ambiance, creating an atmosphere of sophistication & elegance.
First off the service here is impeccable, when we arrived they seated us on one of their last tables at the back corner but when we asked to be moved to a nicer spot, they were understanding & moved us with no issues.
The service continued to be phenomenal through the night as the waiters treat each guest with respect & really make you feel special. The atmosphere is grand with the open kitchen, high ceilings & rich decor. It always elevates the experience.
The food was as usual delicious. 40 Westt doesn't waste time with fancy modern lingo, their food is to the point & cooked to perfection. The cowboy steak was sublime & their apple pie was brought to another level.
The price is expensive, but the experience is always worth it. You pay for quality here & quality is what you get. We will definitely continue our yearly tradition of coming back!

I had a great time at 40 West! Maria welcomed us warmly & was incredibly kind. Michael provided outstanding service throughout our visit. We'll definitely be coming back!
Ahmed was the best waiter. Amazing service & really made our meal even more enjoyable than just the delicious food! Lobster, filet mignon, the best French fries ever, & soufflé / perfect meal - perfect service!
Been here a few times & every visit gets better. The menu has variety, & every dish we tried was tasty. Staff always greets us with a smile. A go-to spot for sure!'

Pretty underwhelming food wise. Been several times for business, brought my wife for 1st time. Food was under seasoned. Paloma was flat ($30 cocktail 😒). Bread was offered yet never brought. A few other hiccups but normal in the industry, not worth adding but it all adds up at that point. Grille Nature will be our definite go-to at this point moving forward in the WI (better price, food, service, …)
