Discover 40 Westt, in Montreal’s West Island. Located Minutes from the airport and in close proximity to the downtown core, our establishment offers the finest CANADIAN Prime beef on the market. We dry age the beef in our own meat lockers for a period of 28-35 days, on display for all of our guests to see. 40 Westt also offers great martinis, an affordable lunch table d’hote, as well as impressive jazz performances on the weekends. Whether you’re looking for the best steak around, fresh shucked oysters, sinful desserts and/or an evening of entertainment, 40 Westt has all of the ingredients for an unforgettable experience.

Bleu Room: 80 seats including seats at the bar.
Large free parking lot available at the front and back of resto.
1st Private room with 45 seats equipped with LG Screen, 2 speakers and a microphone. Perfect for conferences, business meetings, or any kind of celebrations.
2nd Private room with 60 seats, ideal for any type of occasion.

The entire restaurant can be reserved on Sundays for a private party for a group of 80 people or more.

Porterhouse was good. Mostly Tender. Nice sear. Some parts were dry, but it's is probably due to the dry aging.
Our dry aged steak delivered bold beef flavor, with blue-cheese notes & a touch funky. All good when you like dry aged steak, which i do!
Shrimps were cooked perfectly & flavourful.
I would describe the service as efficient. In the middle of asking questions about the menu, the server just left. Unusual. Another server tried humor by insulting us. Not my idea of hospitality. Again...Unusual.
Anyways, we finally tried it. Good food. We will not return due to robotic (but efficient!) service from one server & downright impolite comments from another.
Save the roasting for the steaks, not the guests.

Excellence in services restaurant, family friendly & fast. Their magnificent prestigious band & band leader Mr. Wali at the bar, makes you feel warm, welcoming & very special. This is the perfect band for all occasions & special events at this luxurious, fancy, top notch restaurant. Music is healing & happiness!!!

We've been coming here for special occasions for 20 years & it has always been one of our favorites. It has completely fallen off quality wise. Steaks were small & dry. The sides were extremely low value. For 18$ you get 7-8 cold thin asparagus stalks that were limp. The waiters were also inattentive & actually quite cold, bordering on rude. Honestly at 150$ per person it doesn't make sense anymore.

I brought my sister to 40 West to sit by the bar for cocktails & to enjoy the live jazz band. The service was excellent! Our bartender was Chris Everett. His expertise & service were impeccable! The entire ambiance & evening were so memorable!

Went for my company's Christmas lunch & really enjoyed it. The wedge salad with creamy blue cheese dressing & the NY-style steak were delicious. Service was decent-I was told it's usually better, but since it was my first visit, I can't compare. I'd definitely go again!

Our company Christmas party was held at 40Westt. What a phenomenal night we all had. Staff, management made sure everything was to everyone's satisfaction. Food was incredible fish or steak you cannot go wrong. Wine selection was wonderful. I definitely recommend this place for any event birthday-anniversary-baptism.... 40Westt will not disappoint.

Always a treat to go to one of the top steak houses in the province, not just the city. The wait staff is very courteous, knowledgeable & caters to every need. The selection of wine & the quality of the food is second to none. In short, incredible atmosphere coupled with excellent food & service!
