Patapoufs is widely praised for its high quality products, with standout croissants, breads and pastries and a clafoutis that many regulars rely on. The atmosphere is described as warm and welcoming, making it a favorite neighborhood spot, though the noise level and sometimes loud music can make conversation difficult. Service receives mixed notes: many customers find staff friendly, efficient and attentive, while others report order errors, rushed service, or a less welcoming tone. Value is seen as strong by many, thanks to quality and variety, but several reviews also point to rising prices and occasional quality lapses on certain items. Practical drawbacks mentioned include occasional takeout cup leaks and inconsistency in coffee temperature, and a desire for better air conditioning or climate comfort in the space. Despite these fluctuations, Patapoufs remains a go-to for desserts, croissants, and artisanal snacks, with many praising the freshness, presentation, and the option to sit, work, or pick up catered items. Overall, the reviews converge on Patapoufs as a beloved local bakery that delivers delicious French-inspired treats and a lively, convivial vibe, even as service and value experiences vary.

A cafe-boulangerie that is definitely a place to be known. Either for just a coffee while chatting with friends or an informal business meeting, or even to grab a salad, sandwich or typical Boulangerie products. To be known

After having made 3 visits here & sampled a variety of their offerings I can say that Les 3 Patapoufs is one of my favourite bakeries in Montreal. Their viennoiseries are to die for. I love the croissants, which are flaky, buttery delights. They don't make many every day so if you don't get there early enough they might be sold out of them. I can see where they would rather sell out of something than have left overs at the end of the day which need to be tossed in the garbage. Now the real star of the show here are their pastries. Too many places just load everything with sugar to give something taste but not Les 3 Patapoufs! They use quality ingredients & focus on giving their pastries depth & variety of flavour. These are the kinds of desserts I love. Prices are also surprisingly reasonable when you consider how much food costs have risen & how food service establishments have been forced to raise their prices to compensate for that. I very much feel like I am getting value for my money here. In all an excellent bakery worth the visit!
