Extremely disappointed. While I understand that we were a large group (15), the service and food quality for non meat eaters (2) were unacceptable. While the meat dishes were fine, those of us who ordered the $48 salmon-the only alternative on the menu-had a very poor experience. The salmon arrived nearly half an hour late and was completely inedible: dry, hard, and overwhelmingly fishy. This was clearly not fresh fish, but rather something pre cooked and reheated. It was honestly the worst salmon I've ever had, especially at this price point. For anyone who doesn't eat meat, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant-or at the very least, avoiding the salmon. Unfortunately, this experience has lost you a customer.

As a uber driver I went to this restaurant, the order was not ready I have instructed to wait, due to no parking outside, the parking related to this restaurant was full, I had parked my car in area where high chances of ticket, the lady prepared the order and she start packing, in the same place near to counter a customer and a restaurant staff start some discussions, so the female restaurant staff who were packing the order left the packing and start concentrating on the there discussion at the same time I have asked the female, ma'am please support to pack the order as no parking outside and higher chance of ticket as case the police/ticket team came in, somehow she prepared the order but give me dislike in uber system which casuals Hugh impact on my acceptance rate , Is this my fault ??

Decided to try Bar Minou after reading the amazing reviews. That said, my experience at this restaurant was abysmal. Arrived and was offered a small table and told that I would be provided with a space at the bar once one became available. Watched two couples leave the bar without being offered a place. Ordered a bottle of wine and was told that the wine we requested was'a big ask'. We asked that if the wine we requested was not available, could we be provided with a comparable wine to which the waiter explained he had only been working there for two weeks and wasn't necessarily able to sample the wines in stock. It took 20 minutes to retrieve the bottle (which was not the one we requested, as it was unavailable). We were provided with the alternate and when we asked if it was a similar profile the waiter explained that he thought so. We advised the waiter that we had requested a place at the bar and he agreed that we could move but we would need to remind him. We also told the waiter we were intending to order food, but he never came back to take our order. We decided 45 minutes into our evening that we would finish our bottle of wine and go elsewhere for food (which we did). Would def not recommend.

Every time I go to this place I cannot decide for myself what it is that I like most: their delicious and authentic food or unmatched hospitality of the people how work there. It feels like visiting your friends or family. This is how they make you feel. A huge THANK YOU!

Une bien agréable surprise. Savoureux, de bon goût et un service chaleureux. Un beau choix d'entrées à la Japonaise et des ramens fait maison succulent. Certainement à visiter de nouveau!

Encore une fois, une excellente expérience, un service exceptionnel de notre serveur Rock et son équipe. Notre souper entre amis encore une fois était tout simplement délicieux, cuisson à la perfection comme demandée. (C'est normal, c'est le St-Charles). Nous avons reçu notre commande ce soir et il manquait les maïs et les écrevisses nous avons été très déçu car, nous avons payer la livraison Uber en plus de ne pas recevoir la commande qui est asse coûteuse pour un totale de 190$ on nous a demandé de se présenter en restaurant pour un simple crédit

I stumbled upon this place last year, the bruschetta was amazing so we had to come back this weekend. The food is incredible and the service is also good. However, while seated at the bar one employee behind the bar made us feel uncomfortable as we joyfully asked a simple question about my mothers drink, as he responded in an extremely cold manner, enough that i still thought about it today. Service is an art and if you are not ready to welcome a comment or question from a guest, you should not be behind the bar. Everything else was perfect, from the host (we asked to switch seats and he was very kind about it) to the main bar service (very knowledgeable and cool) to the quick service from the bussboy (he was very funny and polite)

We had our Good Friday meal in this cozy restaurant as they had quite a few vegetarian options. We were so happy to find out the arancino was vegetarian and found it very delicious especially with the cream. The spaghettini pomodoro was simple but oh so satisfying! Finally the cavatelli with pesto was perfectly light and fresh. The pastas reminded me of Italy!Our server Megane was friendly and full of smiles so made our first meal in Montreal very welcoming. Merci beaucoup for a wonderful dining experience! 😊

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic, friendly and timely service. Our server (blonde lady with some tattoos - I wish I knew her name) was amazing and even gave us a little duck as a souvenir :) 10/10 would recommend
