I do not live in Sherbrooke, but was invited to this restaurant by a friend who lives in the area. This place is all about great food, cleanliness and good service. Now, every time I am in Sherbrooke, I insist that we go! :-) I most heartily suggest the "menu gastronomique" for the full experience. A+!

Their chicken is very well prepared and quite tasty. I have never been disappointed. My only criticism relates to their french fries. They are always soggy and mushy, especially when doing take-out. For great fries (and the BEST poutine in town) go for Le Coq Rapide instead. Their crinkle-cut fries are so much better, but their chicken is not as good as St. Hubert in my opinion.

Of all the chicken places out there, I think that they have THE best battered chicken filets... especially when paired with their yummy Dijon sauce. As for the rest of the menu, it's nothing terribly special. I tried the ribs once and I was not impressed. Their desserts are very good, though.

Can't complain about the place... clean, inviting and most importantly, the food is tasty. I ordered their famous smoked meat platter and found the meat a little dry but good nonetheless. Service was efficient and the prices are very reasonable. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by their brownie dessert.

I don't think I'll be going back to this place. For starters, the floor was very sticky everywhere. Second, my smoothie glass was on a plate so worn and scratched that it looked dirty and the strawberry that adorned it still had a chunk of soil on it. The raspberry crepe that my dining partner had was also disappointing. You'd figure that a place like this would use fresh fruits but the raspberries had mostly disintegrated because they were prepared from frozen. The side of fruits that came with my meal were also not washed at all. On the plus side, at least the waitress was nice and the bathrooms were clean.
