The Gala of Quebec Gastronomy Awards, the flagship event celebrating excellence in the "farm-to-table" industry, returns on Monday, May 4th, 2026. This year, the event will take place in the heart of Quartier latin. The networking cocktail and award ceremony will be held at Salle Pierre-Mercure, Centre Pierre-Péladeau, followed by the festive evening at the Studio-Cabaret, Espace St-Denis.
The Gala honors exceptional talent in Quebec's culinary scene, presenting awards across 17 categories, from Restaurant of the Year to Artisan of the Year, including Best Service, Revelation of the Year, and Mixologist of the Year.
For this 8th edition, the jury is chaired by François-Emmanuel Nicol, chef-owner of La Tanière3 and Restaurant of the Year 2024, alongside a team of experienced and gender-balanced culinary experts.
The Lauriers thank their valued 2026 event partners, including Donald Martel, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec, as well as the founders and supporters: Daniel Lacombe (LDE-Ecologixx), ITHQ, Tourisme Montréal, Lightspeed, and the Mangetout festival, among others, along with media partners.
Applications open: January 19th, 2026
Culinary professionals can submit their own applications or nominate someone they admire. Selection is based on 50% jury vote and 50% industry vote.
