TOHU and the citizens of Montreal will light up the Latin Quarter on October 22!
Inspired by the "Les Lumières de Saint-Michel" project, organized by TOHU for the past three years, the "Les Lumières du Quartier Latin" event will offer a collective and luminous experience in the heart of Montreal.
In collaboration with institutional, community, and commercial partners, students, residents, and visitors to the Latin Quarter will be invited to create hundreds of handmade lanterns. From October 4 to 19, workshops will be held simultaneously in several locations: the atriums of cégep Vieux Montreal, UQAM, Grande Bibliothèque.
This major creative project will culminate on October 22 with an illuminated march through the streets of the Latin Quarter-a magical and unifying moment where creativity and solidarity will shine together. The evening will conclude with a free musical show, open to all.
