The Quartier des Spectacles invites residents to the fourth edition of its big neighborhood party, presented as part of the Journées de la culture. Come meet your neighbors and the cultural actors who bring your neighborhood to life in a friendly atmosphere on the Esplanade Tranquille.
A series of free activities, musical and dance performances, and a greening workshop will be offered. Cultural organizations from the Quartier des Spectacles will welcome visitors in small lounges to discuss and showcase various aspects of their artistic work. Guides will also offer a walking tour of the Quartier to discover the cultural heart of the city and its secrets.
This year, we are pleased to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Boat People in collaboration with the Vietnamese Cultural Center by welcoming Vietnamese chef Marylyn Tran from the Tran Cantine restaurant, who will give a cooking demonstration of Vietnamese spring rolls. This will be followed by a tasting of Vietnamese spring rolls and a snack of dried fruit.
