Dalia and Chandni had an amazing time at Giwa, a cozy Korean gem on bustling Wellington Street in Verdun. It's the first spot in town to serve raw crab and shrimp, and to Dalia's surprise, she loved it! Chandni, already a Korean food fan, was all about their modern take on classics, from appetizers to sot-bap and creative desserts. If you're craving something fresh and different, this new spot is a must-try!

Rébecca was thrilled to attend the 2025 Lauriers press event at Lightspeed in Old Montreal. Surrounded by industry peers, oysters from Hoogan et Beaufort, and fine bites from proud local partners like Dandurand and Fontanafredda, she soaked up the festive buzz. The room pulsed with anticipation as the names behind Quebec's best culinary projects were revealed. A dazzling evening, full of familiar faces and thoughtful tributes, that left her counting the days till the May 26th gala.

Chandni and Dalia had the best time at Phillips Bar, a stunning new Japanese Buvette in the heart of downtown. Created by the powerhouse team behind Jatoba, chefs Antonio Park, Olivier Vigneault, and S'Arto Chartier-Otis, the menu is truly next level. Every dish, from the sushi to the teishoku, was packed with flavour. Whether you're planning a girls' night or a cozy date, this place is a must-visit!

Chandni was thrilled to attend the grand opening of India Rosa, a vibrant new Indian restaurant now open on the South Shore. As an Indian herself, she loved seeing the culture celebrated through lively dance performances, henna artists, a spice station where she picked up a bag of chai masala blend, delicious bites, and Indian-inspired cocktails. The energy was contagious and the atmosphere beautifully immersive. Chandni can't wait to return for a full dining experience soon!

Dalia and Chandni instantly fell in love with this cozy purple gem that puts a smile on your face the moment you walk in. Serving all the brunch classics with a fun Middle Eastern twist, they were hooked from the very first bite. The labneh and the iced tiramisu latte were a standout for Dalia, while both are still dreaming about the kunafa pistachio French toast. They're open daily for brunch, but weekdays are your best bet to beat the weekend crowds.

Chandni had the pleasure of dining at one of the classiest Italian restaurants in Montreal, tucked inside a stunning 19th-century Victorian grey stone building. The warm and attentive staff made the experience even more memorable. Standouts included the lobster and saffron ravioli and the perfectly tender milk-fed veal. It's the perfect spot for a romantic night out or when you want to impress a date.

Dalia and Chandni had an unforgettable night at the Cabaret Bernard Gourmand in the Village. They were invited to see Folie d'un soir, a 3-hour show that flew by in a whirlwind of dance, comedy, acrobatics, singing, and burlesque. It felt like a taste of the Moulin Rouge right here in Montreal. A must-visit for a dazzling and fun night out!

This was Chandni's second time at Le Grotto, and the food somehow managed to top her first visit. Chef Sarry's globally inspired dishes are as unique as they are delicious. The cocktails are just as impressive, crafted with care and creativity. It's the perfect spot for a cozy date night or a fun evening with friends.

Date: April 23rd
Rébecca felt truly honoured to be one of five media guests invited to celebrate the long-awaited reopening of Renoir and the unveiling of NINI, its elegant new cocktail lounge. The attention to detail extended to the food, service and even the décor, which paid homage to both French elegance and Montreal's vibrant spirit. While everything was truly excellent, her standout favourite was the Canadian pike quenelle with lobster bisque, a beautiful nod to the classic Lyonnaise dish with a Québec twist that made her pause in delight. With a handwritten invitation and thoughtful gift box to top it all off, this exclusive event left Rébecca inspired and eager to return soon.

Dalia and Chandni had a lovely lunch at Chez Devi, perfectly located on bustling Crescent Street. The vibe was just right, sunny weather, great music, and Habs fever in the air. Their $23 lunch menu is a steal, with soup, a main, naan, and dessert all included. Whether you're out shopping or need a solid business lunch spot, Chez Devi hits the mark.

Chandni had the pleasure of attending the opening night of Canons! in DIX30. This cozy little spot specializes in market cuisine, with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients. She was impressed by how classics like beef tartare and burgers were taken to the next level. Every bite was a hit, and she's already planning to return for the full dining experience.
