I got two burgers, a classic & a barbecue crunch. I feel like the burger was smashed too thin with too little beef & it was overcooked. The meat was dry & dark & overly greasy. I also think that they didn't really take the time to drain the fat, causing the bun to soak up most of it & with whatever sauce & if they buttered the Buns leading to a very soggy Burger. I also felt that the burger was already being cooked while I walked in. I have had smash burgers before & they weren't smashed SO thin that they were prone to overcooking. I understand if youre trying to get the edges to be lacy & crisp. But the grease & the overcooking ruined it for me.

Best burger ever! 🍔
The smash burger was incredibly juicy, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. Every bite was amazing! The fries were crispy, the service was friendly, & the whole experience was 10/10. If you're looking for the best burger in Montreal, I highly recommend ZEEZ. I'll definitely be coming back!

Always got delivery in this place & tried it in store for the first time, I think i'll stick with deliveries for now cause the place is very small & the quality was the same anyway. Sometimes they're not very consistent with the crunchy part of their chili crisp, sometimes it comes crunchy sometimes it is not & when i was in the store, to my surprise it wasn't crunchy either that's why i was lowkey disappointed.

First time trying Zeez & I was blown away. We got the classique & the mushroom with onion rings & smashed potatoes, safe to say, it was absolutely amazing! The burgers are so juicy & flavourful, the onion rings are fried to perfection, & the smashed potatoes are somehow fluffy & crispy at the same time. 10/10 service too, the lady that helped us was so nice & recommended the hot honey (get the hot honey!) Definitely coming back soon, been dreaming about that burger...

Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had, 11/10. The chilli crisp burger has the perfect bite with a sweet spicy aftertaste. Enjoyed it so much I had to go back & get another one the next day. Not from here but anytime I am back in the area I will definitely be looking for another one.

Visited ZEEZ on a whim & it has quickly become a new favorite burger spot in the Plateau. This hole in the wall offers a small selection of double smash burgers & sides done well.

The classic smash burger fills all cravings for a really good burger. The patties are smashed thin & cooked until crispy. The whole, with the steamed brioche buns, melted American cheese & sauce, turns into one soft meaty homogenous mass. Dirty & terribly indulgent, but delicious.

ZEEZ has gained much popularity since its inception & a line often forms. Regardless, the wait is worth it for a fresh burger done very well at affordable prices. I look forward to coming back to try all that they have to offer.

It was one of those gorgeous hot days where all you want is something crispy, saucy, & satisfying… so I took myself on a solo date to Zeez Burger, & they understood the assignment.

I went for the Chili Crisp Burger - 2 smashed patties , crispy house-made onions, & fresh jalapenos that matched the summer feeling. Paired it with their signature Patates Zeez, which were topped with a beef patty , cheddar, & creamy house sauce.

As a sauce girl, I had to dip into a few extras … the truffle mayo was rich & earthy, & the BBQ added a little sweetness that balanced the spice beautifully. (Most of the sauces are house-made too .. love that.)

For dessert, I cooled down with the moka pudding . Creamy & sweet, though I found myself wishing for a little cookie crumble or crunch on top to add some texture.

The staff were lovely, & the soundtrack? Classic throwbacks & oldies - think Michael Jackson & sunny day singalongs.

I've made the mistake of coming here late at night for dinner twice now & I would say that if you come here when it's late & busy don't expect the staff to be nice, they're clearly really tired…the wait times are very long, I thought I could avoid that by doing Uber pick up but still ended up waiting almost 20 mins after the pick up time. The food doesn't come out at the same time which means your fries might be waiting on the counter for your burger to be done…one or all of your food will be cold by the time you get it. Also, I've never been offered the complimentary popcorn until I finally asked for one cause I was starving while waiting. I got a trio: the mushroom burger with 3 patties which was very well done…crispy even. It wasn't as good as the other reviews claimed & I had to add my own pickles at home to make it taste better. I upgraded my fries to a poutine which tasted like the one at Costco…don't expect fresh cut fries bc they don't exist here. I've had their zeez potatoes which are good the first time/once. Next time, I will just go to uniburger for my burger fix & if you're like me (needing to eat something late at night) just make something at home & avoid the food regret. Or if you must, go to Kahwa down the street for their panko chicken sandwich if they're still open. It always slaps & their bread is fresh & made to order.
