We found this hidden gem during our Montreal trip in July 2026. The lamb shank was incredibly tender, & the grilled chicken with rice was full of flavor. The food was excellent, & it was a pleasant surprise to meet the chef/owner, who is from Lahore, Pakistan. We enjoyed reminiscing about 90's era Samanabad, Lahore. I would definitely visit again the next time I'm in Montreal. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We tried the lamb shank biryani, which was a unique & amazing combination. The rice was perfectly cooked-fluffy, not mushy or hard, & beautifully spiced. It left a wonderful aftertaste.
The lamb shank itself was incredibly juicy & tender.
The chef offered us a pastry, he said made daily for freshness & it truly was fresh & delicious.

I had an amazing experience here. The food was incredibly flavorful & tasted fresh, with generous portions that really make it worth it. The Lamb was so tender perfectly cooked & well-seasoned, & the sauce added so much to the meal. The staff was friendly & welcoming, & the service was fast. The restaurant has a casual, comfortable vibe that makes it great for both quick meals & sitting down with friends or family. If you're looking for delicious halal food in Montreal, ZamZam Grill is definitely a place I'd recommend & I can't wait to go back !!!!
It was always a good dining experience at this small yet very friendly family owned resto. Mohammed was amazing! We enjoyed all dishes! The Lamb Shank was a favorite. It was full of flavor, so tender & juicy! The grilled Sea Bass & Calamari were equally delicious too. Portion was generous. We left the resto satiated & happy ☺☺?.
