We came across this soup dumpling restaurant & we were surprised how good it was. The restaurant has a nice seating layout for around 4 people max on a table. We tried the soup dumpling with shrimp, pork, chives & the noodles with beef. They were both super delicious & tasty! The soup dumpling skin was not too thick but enough to hold the soup & not break. The seasoning was perfect on the soup dumplings, no additional soy sauce or vinegar was needed. Highly recommend & would come back.View more

After several days in Montreal, having a heavy variety of cuisines available in this incredible city... there was no dinner experience better than what we had at Yum Yum Soupe Dumpling. We loved the Fine French cuisine, we loved all of the great lunch joints, but again, there is something special happening when the man at the restaurant asks you, "have you had soup dumplings before?" & you answer "No." He proceeds to show you how to properly enjoy it - not because he's pretentious, but because he wants you to maximize the taste. We will recommend this place, just as we were recommended it, & pay forward the attention to perfection this place offers. Their home-made chili paste is unreal, we bought some to-go. Excellent culinary experience & amazing friendly service.
This is definitely one of our go to places now. Their food is authentic & tastes like it is home made & so much tastier than those generic recipies you get in other restaurants.
& these people really go above & beyond the usual service & they really put a lot of effort in making sure you are a happy customer
