What a find! Delicious food, great service, reasonable prices, definitely a must try! We love the seaweed salad to start along with the cucumber salad (pssst! we mix the sauce from the cucumber salad into our dipping bowls when we are done). We've tried various types of their soup dumplings & we enjoyed all of them but we were particularly impressed with the beef curry. Yum Yum, without a doubt, is worthy of its name!View more

Meilleurs Dumplings & Nouilles à Montréal Nous sommes venu par hasard ici, & je dois dire que c'est sans conteste le meilleur endroit pour savourer des dumplings à Montréal. les dumplings. Ils sont faits maison, & cela se ressent à chaque bouchée. La pâte est parfaitement fine & tendre, tout en restant ferme, & la garniture est généreuse, juteuse & incroyablement savoureuse. Nous avons pris Agneau & coriandre & poulet curry. Nous avons aussi pris nouilles au poulet & cela était excellent! Pour couronner le tout, les portions sont généreuses & les prix très raisonnables pour la qualité. Si vous cherchez les meilleurs dumplings & nouilles à Montréal, c'est absolument imbattable. My daughter & I went there last night after exploring Montreal on foot. Both of us love soup dumplings & we decided to go to Yum Yum after reading some of the positive reviews. It's a quaint family restaurant with just a few tables & a light, pleasant atmosphere. As we found out during out stay, the wife manages the open kitchen with support staff, forming fresh dumplings non stop, while the husband manages the guests in a very friendly manner & a level of efficiency & attentiveness I have seldom encountered in other restaurants in general. Upon our arrival, the restaurant was full & we decided to wait for what was to be around 30 minutes. During that time several more people arrived who were told that it would be about 1hr. Over the couple of hours we stayed there, we noticed all of them returning at some point. The menu is extensive, with the entire left page dedicated to soup dumplings. Wow. We ended up trying four different varieties - pork/shrimp/chives, pork/shrimp/mushrooms, chicken/coriander & pork/cabbage. In subtly different ways they were all absolutely delicious. The broth was mild but tasty & their homemade chili crunch oil is an excellent condiment to our taste. We observed other patrons being served a variety of other dishes that looked scrumptious but these comments apply solely to the soup dumplings. My daughter & I agreed that they were among the very best we've eaten anywhere & that our visit to Yum Yum was the first of many to follow.View more

Petit restaurant très sympa, que nous avons trouvé en nous baladant. Le monsieur est dynamique & efficace. La nourriture est délicieuse (nouilles au boeuf & dumpling poulet champignons) je n'ai malheureusement pas de photo car nous étions relax & impressionné par le petit lieu, le monsieur & les clients qui n'arrêtaient pas de venir & partir. This place quickly became of one my favorite restaurants in Montréal. The soup dumplings & the milk tea are delicious. The staff is really friendly, they take the time to teach you how to properly eat the soup dumplings in case you don't know. Good prices too! Can't wait to visit again!View more

je venais quand ça a ouvert toutes les semaines tellement les soupes dumplings sont incroyables. J'ai déménagé plus loin malheusement, mais ce soir je viens de le faire découvrir à mon chum. Il en revient pas à quel point c'est bon! & je peux confirmer que la qualité est autant délicieuse même si aujourdhui le restaurant est plein de monde ! c'est même encore meilleur!!! This is the best dumpling restaurant in Montreal & oh boy, I am picky! They prepare the dumplings in house & averything is rich in flavour, ginger & taste delicious. The dumpling dough is thin & not thick like in bought dumpling stores. This is a family restaurant. This is my 2-year old fave restaurant as well. We always come back to this place! Try it!View more

Mes dumplings préférés à Montréal ! J'avais l'habitude de me faire livrer des xiao long bao (soup dumplings) qui sont délicieux. Je les ai enfin goûtés sur place, c'est encore meilleur juste sortis de la cuisson :) Nous étions sept, le service a été super. After several days in Montreal, having a heavy variety of cuisines available in this incredible city... there was no dinner experience better than what we had at Yum Yum Soupe Dumpling. We loved the Fine French cuisine, we loved all of the great lunch joints, but again, there is something special happening when the man at the restaurant asks you, "have you had soup dumplings before?" & you answer "No." He proceeds to show you how to properly enjoy it - not because he's pretentious, but because he wants you to maximize the taste. We will recommend this place, just as we were recommended it, & pay forward the attention to perfection this place offers. Their home-made chili paste is unreal, we bought some to-go.
