I *really* need to come here more often, as it's even better than I remember last time! (Jul 17/25) I have eaten food from this restaurant twice so far, & I must say that I will be a regular customer guaranteed. The quality & portion sizes for the dishes, (both for dine-in & take-out) are WAY above average of the competition. I'm not sure what happened to those with lower review scores, but if you really enjoy Chinese food, it is as authentic here as the name of the restaurant suggests. The inside of the restaurant is decorated simply enough compared to places like Pékin Garden but once you try the food, you won't be disappointed. I'll take food quality & quantity over paying for overly-fancy ambiance any day. Dishes pictured are of my latest take-home order:
C01 chicken sauté with chong quing red chili,
P22 Fried Tofu with assorted meat & seafood vegetables (chicken substitute for pork in my case),
B15 beef with Chinese broccoli
A Hidden Gem in the West Island!!
I tried this place on the weekend & wow food was delicious! We ordered a variety of items (soup, fried rice, chicken, shrimp, noodles & beef dishes) all were tasty & fresh, good portions also. I'm so happy we found this spot 10/10 would recommend for yummy Chinese food!
Halal Authentic Chinese Restaurant in West Island
The food were tasty & came in big portions. The owner/chef, Mr. Lei, is a Chinese Muslim & incredibly friendly. He took over 2 years ago & changed the menu to halal options (only chicken, beef, & fish), nevertheless Google never took down the old menus & photos although their requested it. They have a halal meat supplier Madina Ltd. We had wonton soup (both peanut butter & spicy sauce are good) as appetizers. We had general tao chicken, fried rice, chow mien with vegetables & fried calamari as main dishes. They have spacious place for dine in
They also offer 7$ bubble tea, & 9.99$ special take out menu, which is basically a bowl of rice & a dish; a good deal for a meal.
