At the legendary 1234 de la Montagne location resides one of Canada’s largest dining and supper club experience. As a fully immersive fantasy setting, Yoko Luna balances the epitome of fine dining with an otherworldly experience.
The cuisine is Nikkei, a tantalizing blend of Japanese delicacies and Peruvian delights, housed within a series of dream-like environments. Each of the eight rooms within our establishment was built with the utmost care for design and detail, with the goal of invoking passionate reactions from our patrons.
Entertainment and mystical arts in the form of “immersive entertainment” floats round the venue in symphony with over-the-top bottle service, including some of Montreal’s most exclusive champagnes and spirits
Yoko Luna is described as a visually stunning venue that blends restaurant, bar and club, with decor that many reviewers call unique and glamorous and a vibe that shifts from relaxed cocktails to high energy dancing. The food gets consistent praise for freshness and flavor, with favorites including sashimi, ceviche and wagyu dishes, though several readers note small portions and high prices. Service is frequently lauded for warmth and attentiveness, yet a number of experiences mention uneven timing, rushed transitions, or delays during peak hours. The entertainment makes a big impression, from live shows to a DJ that drives the late night mood, and the overall atmosphere is often described as upscale, festive and immersive. Some critiques mention overlength waits, aggressive or inconsistent front of house moments, and drink prices that fail to match value, particularly during club hours. Taken together, Yoko Luna emerges as a top choice for a special night out that combines refined dining with an energetic nightlife experience, delivering memorable ambiance and strong hospitality when expectations align with the price point.
Brought my friends here for the first time, they were insanely amazed. Chirag & Lou were fantastic, couldn't have asked for any better! Will always come back for a delicious dinner & party afterwards. Iconic
We had an amazing time at Yoko Luna last Sunday! Chirag booked us an amazing table for dinner, right next to the DJ booth. Dancers put on a show, it was fantastic! We did the set dinner menu, so worth it. Service by Lou was top tier. Can't say enough good things! Highly highly recommend!
Talk about Gastronomy of flavors, all served in this beautifully dim lit, paradise of a restaurant. You think your dining at one of the restaurants in the White Lotus. The service was incredible. We're still talking about the food & the ambience. Not a ton of gluten-free options but you can definitely maneuver around it.
I went to Yoko Luna with a group of friends on Sunday, September 14th for a birthday dinner, & overall it was very disappointing. The place looks nice & has potential, but the service & how things were handled made it a frustrating experience rather than a fun one.
We arrived around 10:05 PM, placed our drink orders & then the food orders fairly quickly-but then we waited over an hour for our food. Meanwhile, two other tables who came in after us had already gotten multiple courses including dessert. We were never given updates about what was causing the delay, no check-ins, nothing. Despite sitting in a highly visible, central spot in the restaurant, nobody bothered to attend to us properly.
When the food finally started arriving around 11:10 PM, it was a mixed bag-literally. Two friends ordered the same quesadilla dish & one plate was okay, but the other tasted off, almost spoiled. After waiting that long, inconsistent quality like that is really unacceptable. Because of how late our food came, the kitchen was closing & we didn't get to try dessert or explore the rest of the menu, which was a shame.
To add insult to injury, once the place began preparing to turn into a nightclub, the staff rushed us to clear the table & gave a sense that they just wanted us out. When the bill arrived, the waiter's tone was aggressive, especially since I refused to tip after such poor service. Between the five of us, we probably spent around $700 on single entrees alone. & the treatment we got was nowhere near what that kind of bill should warrant.
Yoko Luna has a striking atmosphere & the idea of Nikkei cuisine is exciting, but the execution here was badly off. Long waits without communication, poor food consistency, inattentive staff, & an overall lack of respect for paying customers ruined what should have been a celebratory evening. I won't be going back, & I'd strongly caution anyone else considering going there
« Je souhaite vous exprimer toute ma gratitude pour l'excellent service dont nous avons bénéficié lors de notre visite. Votre délicate attention en offrant à ma belle-fille un gâteau pour ses 21 ans a marqué cette soirée d'une touche inoubliable. Merci encore pour votre professionnalisme & votre générosité.( Gérant )
