Hidden gem in the hood.................We made a dinner gathering for Greek Language & Cultural class with our loving teacher Eleni Ladopoulos on a Monday evening & below is how I felt.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at yiaSu a charming Greek restaurant, & let me tell you, it was a delightful experience! As soon as I stepped through the door, the warm ambiance made me feel right at home. The rich aroma of herbs & spices filled the air, instantly whetting my appetite.
For starters, I couldn't resist the classic tzatziki & warm pita bread. The tzatziki was creamy with just the right amount of garlic with 4 different flavours & the pita was perfectly soft & fluffy. I could have eaten it all day!
For my main course, I decided to try the NYC Steak. It was 10 Once meat loaf medium grilled with smooth smoky sauce. Each bite was like a comforting hug, & the flavors were so well balanced. I also had a side of Greek salad, which was fresh & vibrant with crunchy cucumbers, sweet tomatoes, salty feta, & just the right amount of olives.
The service was warm & friendly, making me feel like part of the family. Overall, it was a wonderful meal that left me smiling. If you're looking for a taste of Greece in a cozy setting, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I haven't visited in about a decade, & the food remained stellar.
I had a large group last night, & the employees were on top of it. Shout out to the kitchen for amazing food, to the servers for quick service & to the restaurant for accommodating us with such warmth & love. Felt like we were part of the family for a night! In addition, the restaurant is picturesque for photos:)
I had the lamb chops & would highly recommend for groups & all sorts of occasions.
Un vrai délice ! Le serveur était au top & l'ambiance typiquement grecque. Les plats sont savoureux, notamment le spanakopita qui est un régal. Une excellente adresse pour les amateurs de cuisine grecque. À recommander sans hésiter !
Ce restaurant grec nous a complètement charmés. Le service était hors du commun, courtois, attentionné & chaleureux. Notre expérience a été bonifiée par le fait que nous avons eu la chance d'être servis en français. Le serveur était à l'écoute, respectueux de nos demandes & très professionnel. Bravo à toute l'équipe pour ce bel effort de servir dans notre langue!
L'ambiance était décontractée & conviviale, parfaite pour passer un bon moment. & la nourriture était délicieuse! Le poulet souvlaki était tout simplement incroyable, à savoir, le meilleur que nous ayons mangé.
Tout était impeccable, particulièrement pour ce qui est du service. Nous recommandons Yia Sou Greek Grill sans aucune hésitation, & nous reviendrons, c'est certain.
I'm impressed! There are no words to describe this restaurant better than PERFECTION. I'm impressed how a food like that can be cheap. I'm very picky about food, & the lamb & greek salada got a place in my heart. When you start eating you see the food is quite fresh ! Next time I'll try another option ! Thanks for the experience!!!💙

Je recommande chaudement Yia Sou Greek Grill à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience authentique & savoureuse de la cuisine grecque. Dès qu'on entre, l'ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale donne immédiatement envie de s'attarder. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant & toujours prêt à donner de bons conseils sur le menu.
Les plats sont absolument délicieux. Les viandes sont grillées à la perfection, tendres & juteuses, & les assaisonnements mettent vraiment en valeur les saveurs méditerranéennes. Le gyros est généreux & savoureux, le tzatziki maison est crémeux & rafraîchissant, & leurs salades sont croquantes & bien équilibrées. Chaque bouchée rappelle la Grèce!
Les portions sont très généreuses pour le prix, & la qualité des ingrédients est évidente dans chaque assiette. Le service est rapide, même aux heures de pointe, & tout est préparé frais.
Que ce soit pour un repas rapide ou un souper entre amis, Yia Sou est un endroit où l'on sait qu'on va se régaler. J'y retournerai sans hésiter !
Had the Lamb Skank special for Easter dinner & it was amazing! All of the food was tasty, but I couldn't get over how great the potatoes were. I have to figure out how they do this. They are magic
The food was delicious! We started with lightly battered zucchini chips, then we shared salads & a mixed grill for 2…for the 3 of us. We got grilled chicken, lamb chops, & giant grilled shrimp…definitely enough for 4.

We had supper there last night & the food was absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend the lamb chops & the taverna chicken. Faye gave us great service, we will definitely be coming back.
My first time & it was pretty good. My husband told me about this place, he used to come very often he said. So k told myself I'd give it a try. The food was DELICIOUS!! We had the platter mix of lamp chops, shrimps, chicken wings with rice & your choice of potatoes. Coming back for more of those yummy lamb chops
There is 3-4 cup of tzatziki on each pita & it's perfect tzatziki; very thick & does not leave you tasting garlic all day so perfect for work lunch. The onions are also fresh & mild (so I don't have to order without as usual) & olives are delightful. Love the fair portion of lamb; the 2 lamb pita platter is perfect, more than enough for 2 people & house salad dressing (over horitaki) is perfect match for everything on the plate. Taramas is also really good which is hard to find (almost as good as JDP!) WOW 5 STARS.

We ordered 4 appetizers & then a plate of gyro meat, my friend ordered a skewer of lamb Much to our surprise we got with a Sharing Charge!!!! Seriously? Over $100 bill for 2 & you add a sharing charge? Maybe that's why your business has slowed down Instead of blaming the bike path or bus lane , whichever it was you are complaining about
Nous avons eu une superbe expérience dans ce restaurant grec. Le service était chaleureux & rapide, l'ambiance conviviale & très accueillante pour une famille. La nourriture était excellente & les portions très généreuses & à un prix plus que raisonnable. Toute la famille a adoré! Ce restaurant est une perle pour le quartier.
Been here for years & generally the food is consistent. The decor is getting old & dated & needs to be refreshed. Pricing is a little high. Portions are ok but not great. Very good souvlaki, lentil soup, baklava, Greek salad, chicken skewer, their frozen fries are actually decent too, tzatziki very good, teramoslata good, steak & fries decent but not a steak place so.... Lamb stock great. Porc souvlaki great. Poor - calamari. Overly greasy, not very well seasoned, & the oil did not smell good at all & had to return it.
