Afficher toutpub(27) music(19) live music(13) band(12) burger(10) drink(10) beer(10) soup(9) fish(7) recommend(7) fish & chips(6) bière(6)Pub relaxe & accueillant. Choix de bières varié. Excellent service! La nourriture n'est pas ce à quoi on s'attend pour un pub : beaucoup de plats avec du cury/tacos. Un peu pêle-mêle, mais c'était bon.
I want to start put by saying that the staff were absolutely amazing. Attentive, helpful, friendly & they hustled, big time.
The atmosphere was alright. It definitely has a well worn feel to it, as a pub should. The booths were comfortable, the wooden chairs, not so much. The tables also felt a little on the smaller side but all of this just kind of adds to that'pub experience' & it was fine. The big let down for us, was the food. It wasn't bad but it doesn't impress in any way. It was'ok'. We all described our dishes as'uninspired'. My son & I had burgers. They were the Orchard Burger & the Jameson Burger. They were sizeable but simply'unimpressive' in terms of taste. Our fries were warm & cold & also'unimpressive', they did not feel as though they were fresh. My wife had chicken wings, listed as'half kilo' on the menu & turned out to be 5 wings with fries. She was very disappointed in portion & flavor at over $20. Our daughter had the Crispy chicken burger & said it simply had no taste & was WAY overcooked,'like trying to bite it to a hockey puck'. We ordered a nachos entry as well that featured an amazing salsa but had very little cheese or toppings otherwise. My wife wanted an onion soup entree as well but decided against it after reading reviews about it. As it turns out, someone next to us ordered it & was extremely disappointed in the quality. He said it seemed'watered down' lacked the bold taste that one would expect from a good onion soup & it was served with salad croutons instead of bread.
The price of this food is way over the quality that you would expect at said prices & we felt put off by the bill after we had eaten what was presented to us. $158.73 with no drinks. Water & 2 softdrinks.
Bathrooms also left a bit to be desired. Not horrible but not inviting.
Again, the staff were absolutely amazing but the kitchen needs a serious upgrade in output quality.
We will not be going back.
Walked a couple blocks & found a pub with a live band. It was this vintage log cabin vibe, & I asked the bartender if there was a seat at the bar because I was solo. After less than a minute a lovely man got up & pulled his seat out for me. I enjoyed an incredible plate of braised beef with a stout gravy, the playlist & band Shinedown was fabulous. The girls behind the bar were so thoughtful (hello grapefruit gin!) & accommodating. It was so comfortable & plesant that for just a minute, I felt like I was back @theblackknightpub table with my friends. I highly recommend this place for travellers or group. I was even invited up to dance with some friendly locals before I left. I did manage to grab a slice of triple chocolate cake to-go! I can't believe I waited this long to take myself out for dinner. 😉. Cant wait to return with my peeps next time. #Saint-Sauveur #yeoldetownpub #solodining ⚜?❄?🎿🎶🎤🥁
This is one of my favorite pubs in saint sauveur. I like to go on Fridays & seat at the bar to enjoy the live band having my Bubble Gum Beer (something like that). My husband & my son love the burgers but I'm a little bit picky, so I'd like to see healthy options at the menu but I know it's rare everywhere. The atmosphere is really cool , staff attentive. It's a must go place in Saint-Sauveur.
Great, kind, sociable staff & wonderful old school classic pub atmosphere. Thanks guys!
While I cannot comment on the food, my husband & I stopped here on a Saturday night for some drinks & to see the live band & boy did we have an unexpectedly fun time. The band [Wickermen] we absolutely amazing & put on a great show. Aside from that the hospitality of the staff were amazing. Right when we walked in Lee found us a seat at the bar right in the middle of the action. He asked us about ourselves & even treated us to some drinks after ! We are from out of town & have never experienced such hospitality! Such a more genuine & fun vibe than the St. Sau Pub up the road. Keep it up :)
We were in St Sauver, & stopped in to Ye Old Orchard. It's a great place to have a pint & some pub food. I still prefer my local Ye Old in NDG, but it was nice to have a moment with a Guinness. The 80's was fun!
Excellent pub, serveuses super sympathiques & souriantes. Je recommande!
I've been to the pub about ten times now & the food, service & atmosphere are all top notch! The fries are to die for, the bacon n blue cheese burger is delicious & all the curry dishes are exceptionally tasty. They have many brands of beer on tap & the mixed drinks are really good too. Twice a month they have live bands & the place is rocking at those events. The part of the bar with the stage always ends up like a small house party: patrons dancing & singing along; open & friendly guests. They staff are extremely friendly & accommodating. If you're in St Sauveur, check this place out as I know you won't be disappointed.
Wife & I went on a Saturday night & the vibe was awesome. Live music really brings the place to life. Staff are super friendly & very accommodating. If you're looking to have a cool pub experience, then this is the place.
What a great place. The area in the fall is beautiful, the pub had great food, awesome & friendly staff. The bands are also top notch. Take a drive, spend the day in saint-sauveur & hit the pub for food a cold beer & great bands.
We love the pub for a fish & chips & a Guinness. A bit pricy but it is excellent so no complaints there
Great little secret spot for great pub food, live music on the terrace Fri/Sat summer. Budget friendly less than $$$ for two including Table d'Hôte & drinks.
Fish & chips good. Curry shrimp was ok for a pub. Waitress was awesome & accomodating.
