The only reason this place didn't get a one star rating is because of their friendly staff. What a disappointment this place has turned out to be. When we first started going there, the food was pretty good. Now, it's become'du gros n'importe quoi' on a plate. My last ever meal there were the fish tacos, frozen fish sticks…really??? The taco we leaking with god knows what liquid. My second to last dish was the butter chicken…avoid that too. It tasted nothing like butter chicken, it was more like bitter chicken with dried rice. The taste was off.
The last few times we expressed our dissatisfaction to the staff about the quality of the food, it was never addressed & answered by a…OH!
Unfortunately the food quality has diminished significantly & many of us will not be going back for what used to be a fun Saturday night out.

Wonderful atmosphere! We enjoyed fish & chips done to perfection & beer from their extensive selection served by our friendly & kilted bartender Matthew. We had a great experience!

My husband & I went for dinner for our anniversary last weekend. We receive great hospitality from the staff there. They were attentive & friendly from start to finish!
We ordered fish & chips & the irish stew & both were prepared to perfection!
We will forsure be back soon!

The warm welcome upon arrival gave us positive energy. The young waitress was kind & polite. The beer tasted very good, & the fish & chips were better than at many other pubs. The terrace area wasn't as nice as the indoor space, but that didn't really matter. Unfortunately, after the food was served, our table didn't get much attention anymore. We wanted to order more cocktails, but we changed our mind because it took too long for the waitress to come back. Overall, it was a good experience.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday & the place was busy.
We started off with the nachos which were really good, everyone dug in the tasty nachos before I could take a picture.
Our table also ordered the fish & chips, salmon & braised beef. Everything was delicious & well cooked. For the salmon, I wish they would've put more of that delicious dill sauce on the plate, but the dish was great.
We had to ask twice to get some glasses of water, but other than that everything was great & we had good service from our waitress.
On a side note for anyone with allergies to fish: the burger patties & some other grilled things are cooked on the same grill as the fish. Our waitress was kind & thoughtful to explain this to us.
We will be back.
They have the best fish & chips in town! We had it on Friday just like we do in England. Servings was huge ☺? & the servers were excellent! Will defo be back with family… probably adding live music band would be perfect 👌
Avons manger dehors, agréable.mais mettre 5 personnes sur une table de 4 c est ordinaire. Une chance que nous étions très tard ils nous ont laisser mettre 2 table ensemble non sans difficulté....marguerites a 12$ pour un verre de 4 à 6 Oz ouf....c est $$$$ surtout qu il n était pas vraiment bon..côté bouffe c est ok boeuf braise tiède & sans saveur , fish & chip était bon & ragoût irlandais aussi..
This is really a great pub in Point Claire village. I ate there today, along with my girlfriend, & the food was absolutely fabulous!! The service was excellent, & I highly recommend this pub for anybody that is hungry!! We ate the fish & chips & they were cooked to perfection. It is for sure that we will be returning!!
it's a typical pub feel, but honestly kind of felt damp when we went. had clearly just been bleached clean so the place had an interesting smell. the service was nice but slow to order... show to get food. didn't bring us water.. had to chase them down to get some. I got the spicy chicken sandwich which was pretty good. friend got fish n chips which he liked. my son got chicken tenders which he enjoyed. the terrace outside seemed nicer but the wasps can be very annoying sometimes... only 2 individual bathrooms for women... had to wait a while.
With my brother in town for Easter weekend, I took him to this pub for lunch. We both ordered fish & chips. The meal was tasty with a nice portion of fish. There are good selections of traditional pub meals as well as brews to satisfy most patrons. Decor is pub style with multiple tvs on. Plenty of seating, clean establishment & great service when we were there. Quick & friendly service. Parking is limited to free lots in & around the area. This review is based on this visit. Would recommend to everyone looking for pub food in the West Island.
I've been a fan of Ye Olde Orchard, going back to my Monkland days, & was thrilled when they opened in Pointe-Claire! The atmosphere is cozy, especially in the winter if you are lucky to snag a spot by the fire. In warmer temperatures, it's a nice bonus to be able to sit outside.
They have a genuine pub menu, with a few delicious surprises, The Sri Lankan roll & samosa is a favorite appetizer choice, followed by Sri Lankan curry (Veggie, Chicken, Lamb, or Shrimp). Ask for the level of spiciness your palette can handle - they can make it as fiery as you want. The Fish & Chips is very good, as well their stew.
It's a great spot to sit back with a frothy pint, & enjoy a delicious meal!
