Very good, bean sprout chow mein is a must & travels very well without getting soggy like other chow mein can. Good vegetarian alternatives like General Tso Tofu.View more

Kindness is cool! A very kind restaurant owner accepts Ganjingworld kindnessiscool poster, hoping that more people will come to this restaurant to dine. Let us sow kindness together, because we all need it.🙏👍View more
Portions are huge, Singapore noodles were incredibly good (but not very spicy), I thought the BBQ pork was quite dry, & the general tso chicken was okay, probably would be better fresh in the restaurant so it’s crispy instead of delivered!View more
Excellent place to eat~
What I liked:
-Closing very late:
Most of the restaurants in Montreal close around 10 or 11 pm, Wok Cafe is still open until 12am & during the weekends they close at 1 or 2am. For me who sleep very late, that's a nice place to eat when I'm hungry very late at night around midnight. Most of the restaurants are already closed, so Wok Cafe is perfect for closing late.
-The food quantity:
The quantity has larger portions compared to a normal restaurant. I'm very tall (2meters) so I need to eat a lot to get full. Usually the portion offered at a normal restaurant is clearly not enough & I have to order another meal which cost more than 30 bucks for sure. Their portion is bigger, & worth the price (~15 ~20 bucks). When I eat I am not totally full but not that hungry. I would say I'm full at 75% - 80% which is already good to not being starving.
-Friendly staff: Very common, but that's better to eat at a place where the staff is pleasant & friendly than a place where the staff is very unfriendly.
-Noise: I hate eating at very crowded place. I usually go there very late at night so that's perfect. Not that crowded & not that noisy. Very quiet & chill. It may be more dynamic (noisy & crowded) during late afternoon / early evening tho.
-Food quality: I haven't tried other dishes yet. I usually eat that with my friend (check the photos). This one is good if you like to eat something that has taste. I usually take the spicy option which is very tasty.
