Simple but excellent. I got the Wilensky Special with nothing else. For $4.50, it was excellent. The bread was warm & crusty but soft, & the smoked meat was delicious.

Moi ça fait 25 ans que je vais à cet endroit & j’ai toujours pris le délicieux spécial jusqu’à ce que je découvre aussi récemment le délicieux hot dog avec sa saucisse unique, un vrai deélice.

I was so pleasantly surprised to discover this place. There's a reason it has over 4 stars with only a few items on the menu. It's so simple & good! The special doesn't look like much but it's so tasty, salty & tangy with the mustard. The hot dog was so good on the onion top bun. I loved it! The service was beyond fast. The place has this rustic, original look like it hasn't changed since it opened in 1932.
