Sur place depuis des années, ( une vrais institution ) la déco est resté le même , en rentrant dans le restaurant, c est un vrais retour en arrière, photos d époques comble le mur à travers les années, trippant ! Pas de tables, mais comptoir où ont peut s assir. Nous, ont a commandé & manger dans le camion. Si tu aime le baloney, c est la place

This place has nostalgia written all over it. I don't think they've changed a thing in many, many decades - including prices. Casual, no frills, super friendly service. Bring cash.
Je fait mon petit tour à l'occasion lorsque je passe dans le coin, & c'est toujours le même bon goût ! Chose certaine, chez Wilensky, rien ne change & on aime ça comme ça !
Bought a special with a vanilla egg cream. We loved the egg cream! The sandwich was enjoyable too. We took the food outside & sat on a stoop & ate. It was a really nice time.

Great sandwiches!!! They serve you fast & they are super efficient! This place is an institution in Mtl & you understand why as soon as you walk through the door! Love it.
Amazing food! Fast friendly service. There's a reason they have been open almost 100 years. They just know what they are going with a simple menu, no need to change what clearly works. Get the wilensky special with cheddar chesses with extra mustard & the sour pickles. Top that off with any flavor of soda & your set up for an unforgettable lunch.
What can you say about a place that's been in business since 1932? They are obviously doing it right. Great sandwiches & the soda fountain drinks are made to order! Staff are great!

Visited on the basis of a Reddit community recommendation & I'm so glad we did. Totally authentic, the owners were so friendly & welcoming. We tried the Wilensky special, & we tried one of each cheese, both were great. Also the chocolate milk was delicious! Thanks! Something to note as a tourist, you will need cash!
Finally, I visited the renowned place, with plenty of history & tradition inside. The food was good, served quickly, but I missed a more welcoming service.
It is a Montreal landmark that I finally got to try. The sandwich is very good. Service very fast. Old school charm. There is no tipping so any money received goes to charities
