Best latte in Montreal.
They use Ethiopian beans (which I prefer) on regular & have another bean type on rotation. Very balanced taste, doesn't leave you dehydrated or heartburned. The cakes & pastries are made on the spot & are always fresh. Note that they are Japanese style, so low sugar; don't expect an American diabetes experience.
The service is very friendly & they always insist on bringing the food to the table. They have loyalty cards which is a pleasant addition for those who come here often. Coffee beans available for sale.
The café itself is light, spacious, airy & clean. A pleasant experience to sit in overall.Voir plus

I love coming here to grab a piece of cake! The cake is the fluffiest thing ever & the authentic Japanese style ! Weekends are mostly packed, so highly recommended coming here on weekdays if possible. On top of the food, the staff are always very friendly & welcoming :)Voir plus

Clean & cozy place.
I love their cakes because it's light & not too sweet.
Found that the seats by the window are not so comfortable especially to eat, however, I still like the vibe of the cafe.

Popped in to rest my tired feet & wait for hotel check in time. Service was fine if not lukewarm. Immediately after I ordered, a rush of people came including online & in person orders. My espresso based drink & snack took 20 minutes. If I wasn't killing time, I likely would have cancelled order & left. Misto was fine, madeleines were dry & lacked flavour. I also received wrong flavour but as I sat across from customers (ordered after me) who ordered same thing, notices they got the last two. If my feet weren't killing, I likely would have contined to wander & explore.Voir plus

J'ai goûté deux pointes de gâteaux : Earl Grey & Raisins verts & Châtaigne & Cassis. Visuellement, c'est déjà à couper le souffle- & en bouche, c'est encore mieux. Les shortcakes sont fluffy comme des nuages, aux saveurs à la fois délicates & étonnantes. Pas trop sucrés, juste ce qu'il faut. Je suis vite saturée par les desserts trop sucrés, alors que j'aurais volontiers mangé une troisième pointe de ceux-ci… 🍰💫
Côté boissons, j'ai savouré un matcha sakura & goûté un hojicha à la lavande. Les arômes sont bien présents sans être envahissants. Chaque gorgée est chaude & réconfortante. & le latte art? Magnifique - net, précis, apaisant à regarder.
Le décor est minimaliste, l'ambiance douce & calme : parfait pour étudier, lire ou discuter

I tried two slices of cake: Earl Grey & Green Grapes & Chestnut & Blackcurrant. Visually stunning - & the taste? Even better. The shortcakes are fluffy like clouds, with delicate yet surprising flavors. Not overly sweet, which I deeply appreciate. I usually get overwhelmed by sugar, but with these… I could've gone for a third slice. 🍰💫
As for drinks, I had the sakura matcha & tasted the lavender hojicha. The flavors are well-balanced - present without being overpowering. Every sip felt warm & comforting. & the latte art? Beautifully done - clean, precise, & a little visual hug.
The minimalist decor & soft ambiance make it the perfect spot to study, read, or quietly chat.
The service was friendly & kind.

Super cozy very luminous & spacious coffee shop. We went early on a week day to get a good table & it was empty until around 11am. The staff were super kind & explained the whole menu. Matcha had a lovely bright green colour & tasted amazing. Desserts look great & not too sweet. Great for studying or treat yourself to a good matcha. Will definitely revisit.Voir plus

Cozy cafe store with delicious cakes. Their matcha & hojicha latte are great. Their chiffon cakes are made to perfection. The texture is spongey & the cream is very light. You can also pre-order a whole cake for special events.Voir plus

Miso brownie had an interesting flavour & is worth a try, but keep in mind it melts on your fingers so it could get a bit messy. Black sesame bread was dry, but it goes down well with coffee. It's a filling snack. Ube donut was a bit too sweet. Staff is friendly, the atmosphere was very quiet though on a Tuesday afternoon in September. It felt rude to speak louder than whispers.
