Such a fun night out at Taverna! The dance floor was packed & the energy stayed high all night - great mix of 80s/90s/2000s hits that had everyone moving. The bartenders were super friendly & quick even when it got busy, & the drinks were solid. Perfect spot if you want to actually dance instead of just stand around. Will definitely be back!

Taverna was such a good time! Loved the vibe big dance floor, great music that kept people dancing all night. The bartenders were friendly & quick even with the place packed, & the drinks were tasty & reasonably priced. Definitely one of my go-to spots now for a fun night out in Montreal!

L'un des meilleurs bars que j'ai pu découvrir à Montreal! Parfait pour parler avec des amis en début de soirée quand la musique n'est pas trop forte & on peut même jouer au billard, fléchettes & baby foot. Les prix sont très raisonables, sans covers & pas besoin de vestiaires (tout du moins lorsque j'y suis allé). La musique était très bonne & on s'est bien amusé à danser. La clientèle était aussi parfaite. Aucun jugement n'était ressenti & l'endroit n'était pas bondé jusqu'à en être désagréable.

Cool bar, went for Karaoke while on a trip to Montreal with my daughter, bartender was awesome, drinks were decent around $10 which is cheaper than a few close to it

This is a great place to have a drink & dance. The DJs are awesome, the coat check & bar attendants are very nice. I would give 5 stars with pleasure BUT tonight I had a really bad experience with the petit, gross & chauve doorman! He had a really power trip with me & my friend that were sited, just to rest our feet for few minutes, in a reserved table without anybody. We didn't have even glasses on the table, we new the table was reserved & we were ready to leave anytime someone would come in. The little guy came screaming after us & treated us really bad, menacing us & even using some racist words toward us. I suggest the management to make some client relationship trainings with the security personnel. We, the clients that don't make any problem, that are there just to have some good time, do not deserve to be treated without any respect by a doorman that is not prepared to do his function.
